I spent months researching wedding photographers before choosing Olga, and I truly believe she’s THE BEST on the island.
We first had our engagement photos in old San Juan a year prior to the wedding.
From the start, I completely fell in love with her. She was calm, easy, charismatic and incredibly easy to trust. On our wedding day at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico, nothing felt forced or staged. She captured real moments as they happened, yet the photos still look elevated and editorial.
Olga has an amazing eye for light and timing, and she knows exactly when to step in and when to alllow things to happen organically. Our gallery feels timeless, emotional, sophisticated and effortless — like straight out of a wedding magazine.
I have so many people reaching out and asking who was our wedding photographer.
Hiring Olga was 100% one of the best decisions I’ve made for our wedding. -

We could not be happier with Olga as our wedding photographer! She was hands down, the best vendor we hired and held our wedding day together.
About 6 months before our wedding, we visited Puerto Rico to finalize all of our plans with the venue in person. Olga took the time out of her day to give us a free engagement photoshoot in downtown San Juan despite our short notice, and quick trip! She was fun, professional, and amazing to work with. It made us sure we'd picked the right photographer for our wedding.
On the wedding day, Olga honestly held the day together- and I don't say this lightly. She was on top of the schedule, directing the wedding party, and making sure we got all the shots in. She also provided great feedback and suggestions on our wedding schedule prior to the big day (we only had a day-of coordinator), which helped the whole process run smoother.
Post wedding, Olga provided a TON of photos, way more than we were expecting, and all beautiful.
Hindsight is always 20/20, and we can definitely recommend Olga without a doubt. She was more than just a photographer, and well worth it! -

Olga did a family photo shoot on the beach In PR for the 7 of us - what an amazing experience, she did action shots and still photos that really captured the moment for us. very professional and detailed. Highly recommend her. Amazing, the photos brought tears to my eyes -

Olga is the best! Her photo’s are amazing and she is very professional. She knows what she is doing and knows how to get the most amazing photos. We had her take out daughter’s wedding photos and also our other daughter’s senior pictures and we could not be more pleased with our photos and the selection of such beautiful images captured by Olga. She creates a relaxing atmosphere for everyone and her bubbly personality is magnetic! -

Picture Perfect
From the moment I had my consultation with Olga, I knew she was going to be a great fit for our wedding. She was personable, professional, and passionate for what she does. Her experience as a photo journalist is what took her expertise to the next level. You can see our love story told through her lens and it was magical. She brought us out of our comfort zones during our photo shoot and this helped immensely on our wedding day. Having the engagement photos also helped us to choose the style of photos we wanted and Olga was flexible to meet our wants. Our wedding day was comprised of a Hindu ceremony, Christian ceremony, and a reception. Olga kept the same energy throughout the long day and engaged with us and our guests. I cannot recommend her enough but her portfolio speaks for itself. -

Olga is AMAZING. Best Wedding Photographer.
Olga captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way. We had a huge wedding party and she captured amazing moments with each person and my husband and I without feeling rushed. Olga communicated the photography plan well in advance and was so amazing at getting everyone sorted throughout the day- she seriously has an incredible talent for keeping people on schedule in a caring and professional way. I cannot say enough great things about Olga- I will forever remember our wedding in the most beautiful way because of her. If you want to have the best photos you ever could, look no further. It was truly a magical day thanks to Olga. -

Best Destination Wedding Photographer!
If I could give six stars to Olga Thomas (Wedding Society), I would. From our first meeting to the delivery day of our wedding day gallery, Olga was responsive, professional, and timely in all her communication. As a bride who was working full time, moving homes, and planning a destination wedding at the same time, this was beyond helpful.
She took our resort and worked with it like she'd done it 1000 times. On the wedding day itself, Olga was so kind, calming, and FUN! None of it felt awkward or weird, which put the whole bridal party at ease. The pictures themselves are so beautiful! She really captured all the emotion of the day and everyone's happiness. Olga asked for the things we were looking for in our photos and really delivered results that were above and beyond. I'm someone that can only smile so long before I start laughing and making faces, which usually don't turn out to be the best photos, but something she did just made those photos wonderful. My wedding photos look they are out of Pinterest and everyone comments on them. I cannot recommend her enough!! -

My husband and I got married at Fairmont Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico and chose Olga as our photographer. She was probably the most important vendor we hired for our hindu infused destination wedding and she was nothing less than amazing. She truly understood my love for documentary style photography and she was able to capture our wedding perfectly. She is brilliant at giving direction and make the images feel unposed. We talked about the editing style used on the images and she nailed it by using a clean, modern edit and giving them an elegant, timeless feel. She also delivered our wedding very fast. Everyone comments on my wedding photos on her professionalism. Not only is her work fantastic, but her personality is absolutely lovely making it so easy for us to connect. To start off, Olga is AMAZINGLY TALENTED! I mean come on! Have you seen her portfolio online?! When we found her I was like how in the world am I going to have such an incredible, world traveling, expert photographer capture my little dinky Wisconsin wedding and make it look as absolutely glorious as her international shoots?! Well folks she did it! Her photos of our wedding turned out to be outstanding! We LOVE them!! Although our timeline had a few hiccups on our part, she was calm and was still able to capture all our portraits in half the time! Her energy throughout the day was great! She’s is fantastic at engaging with her clients and even getting great pictures of those pesky boys who never want to participate for pictures! I have already booked another session with her! Snag her up folks or you will regret it! -

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Olga is!!!!!!! I am extremely self conscious and insecure and Olga made me feel beautiful!!!!!! Grateful, Amazing, Worth It, Wonderful
To be honest, my husband did not want to hire Olga, nor any photographer to come to our destination wedding.. he thought it was a bit "extra". Needless to say, Olga came and before the weekend was over, hubby was singing a different tune.
Olga kept the party on time, moving along and was more than jsut a photographer. Olga was a planner, makeup artist, DJ, director and more.
Her photos speak for themselves- they are beautiful! My favorite part of looking through every photo is truly seeing my friends and family's personality. The memories, emotions- they were all captured so perfectly.
I have now used Olga for my boudoir photoshoot (totally recommend doing, btw!) our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, wedding week and have already booked her for our upcoming maternity and newborn shoots! The photos that she took of me and my husband together, are the most precious photos we have ever had together. I see them and still get all the feels that we were having that day. The emotion was captured and that, to me, was the most important.
With so many photographer options, we still feel the best about sticking with Olga. Her work is worth it all! -

We are so lucky to have found her. Our life is captured so beautifully. I know I'll look back at these photos one day and be glad I took the time to do the shoots!!!

Sarah Sent on 09/14/2011Olga is absolutely fantastic to work with! I loved her from the beginning! She has extremely competitive pricing, and the photos you get from her are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Know in advance you will only be getting photo discs, so if you need your photographer to give you prints, don't bother calling her.
I worked with Olga for both engagement photos and wedding photos. She knows what looks best in photos, and she will work with you to make sure you get your moneys worth. I ended up with almost 900 photos from my wedding day!!
Plan on meeting with Olga a few times. She likes to meet with the couple before committing to their wedding. Then she likes to stake out the photo locations so you can be efficient on your wedding day!
Since she is such a pro in the business, she has all sorts of suggestions for other vendors if you need help looking!
I plan on using Olga for all future portraits of my family! LOVE her!

Olga was great - very flexible and easy to work with! She turned around our images very fast (as needed for another event) and had her son filming behind the scenes content which was also excellent to have. I wish she would have given me more direction and told me when my veil bouquet or dress needed adjusting - without a stylist/family member doing that for me, there are some shots that just could have been better if I had been paying attention to those things in the moment. I would definitely work with her again though! She was extremely instructive for all the couples shots, which my fiance and I needed 😇 -

AVOID OLGA AT ALL COSTS!!! SHE DELETED OUR NEWBORN SESSION AND WAITED WEEKS TO TELL US.
She is CARELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Do NOT use this woman for any important event in your life.
Olga was recommended to me by another local Milwaukee photographer to photograph my newborn twins. At 7 weeks old they were already older than most other babies sitting for a newborn session (due to my son's NICU stay) and I was assured Olga was great with older babies. The shoot day went great, she set up nice shots and the babies cooperated wonderfully.
Fast forward a month, I have not received any communication from Olga and the photos were supposed to have been sent to us 2-3 weeks after the shoot. I emailed her multiple times and sent text messages. FINALLY I got a response with the worst news. SHE DELETED THE SESSION AND ALL THE PHOTOS WERE LOST.
Photos I cannot get back. A moment in time I cannot get back. Devastated was an understatement.
In her explanation, she labeled our shoot as "twins" in her computer and deleted the session thinking it was another client's session. I can't believe how unprofessional that is, someone who does this for a living being so careless. She also waited WEEKS to let me know this happened. I could have found another photographer in the meantime since my babies were still so small, they looked like newborns. But she robbed us of our photos and the chance to fix the problem.
She said she would refund us the $700.00 I paid (I actually had to send the Venmo request to her since she wasn't sending the money right away) and she offered two free photo shoots as an apology. I felt like this was a fair compromise even with how upset my family was, at least we could have some nice family photos with the twins now that they're older.
Guess what, SHE REFUSES TO ANSWER MY EMAILS. Completed ghosted us, no response, no nothing. I got one text saying she will "email me tomorrow morning" and that was a month ago.
She is CARELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Do NOT use this woman for any important event in your life.Wedding Society's reply:

The deletion of your folder was one of the very few mistakes I have done in my 15 years of being in business. I truly recognize and appreciate the emotional value attached to newborn photographs. Upon discovering the deletion, immediate action was taken to rectify the situation. I promptly issued a full refund to ensure that you were not financially impacted by my mistake. Furthermore, I personally reached out to you to express my sincerest apologies and offered complimentary sessions as a gesture of goodwill and an opportunity to create new memories for you and your family. I understand that these attempts to make amends may not have met your expectations, and for that, I apologize for any further disappointment caused. I would like to emphasize that I am an experienced photographer who takes great pride in providing excellent care to all my clients and the number of clients and years in business reflect the quality of the service and the level of photography that I provide for my clients. That's why another reputed photographer referred you to me and I can't express the amount of guilt and distress I have felt knowing that I've let you down. Client satisfaction and professionalism are at the core of my business values, and it is disheartening to hear that you feel otherwise. While I understand your frustration and disappointment, I wish that you would've approached this situation with respect and understanding.
