I was very surprised at what I got from this vendor. Located in the heart of the jewelry district in downtown LA, the shop is nestled in between a BILLION other jewelry shops. We browsed others on the way to our destination, which I chose through their website. I picked them because my husband likes unique jewelry and most shops have rather plain selections for men and WRU had many different styles.
I'm not much of a shopper and I was getting overwhelmed with all of the selection that I was seeing in the other shops. A lot of selection, but nothing that really appealed to me.
When we walked into WRU, I was surprised to see nothing in display cases. We were greeted by a polite man who asked what we were looking for. He said that he'd start with my husband, because he was easier. My husband described what he liked in rings and the man went into the back room and came out with 10 boxes that each held about 20 rings. He opened the first box and asked my husband if there was anything that he liked. My husband said, "I like this about this ring, but not that; this about this ring, but not that; and I don't like these at all." The man pulled out another box and they did it again. After about four rounds of this, the man took the boxes to the back room and came back with a single ring in his hand. "This is your ring," he said, handing it to my husband. "Now for you," he said, turning to me. We went through the same process and at the end he handed me a double ring set. "This is your ring." Amazingly, these were the absolute perfect rings for us and even now, almost a year later, we admire them daily on our fingers. It was an incredible shopping experience and I will never forget it. FANTASTIC value for the price. His ring was $300 (18 ct gold) mine was $1200 (18ct gold with diamonds). Either would have cost MUCH more outside of the jewelry district. They have many rings that are cheaper, but that wasn't important to us.
