I am Marilyn Gonzalez, President of Wedding Ministers Puerto Rico, and along with our great team, Rene Vega, Astrid Tapia, Luis Figueroa, Pablo N. Aymat, we make up the team of Celebrants who love putting our passion into making wedding ceremonies an amazing experience! We would love to be part of your amazing day!

Here are some important questions that can serve as a guide when choosing a wedding officiant. We start by offering our own answers to those questions, as you evaluate the other options available..

*EXPERIENCE: How long have you been doing weddings?: We have been around since 2005, which makes us the oldest wedding officiant team in Puerto Rico. Our experience is second to none!

*PROFESIONALISM: What are your qualifications? Our Wedding Officiants are professionals who have Seminary education and/or have had pastoral and/or chaplancy experience, most with and M.Div (Master of Divinity theological degree). Our Officiants are open minded and can officiate Religious or Non Religious ceremonies, but our staff are more than just being "ordained online" which is something very common nowadays. Our old slogan is: "Real Ministers for Real Weddings".

*CEREMONIES: What kind of ceremonies do you officiate?: We officiate Religious/Christian (Catholic Rite, Protestant/Evangelical), Semi Religious (Spiritual or "lite" religious) & Non Religious (Secular/Civil) ceremonies. Ceremonies can be Legal or Symbolic.

*ATTIRE: What do you wear when officiating? Our outfit can be as casual as a Guayabera Shirt or as elegant as a Suit and Tie (for gents) and for the ladies, casual or formal dresses. But we also have uniforms such as Robes (like the ones used by Judges) or Alb & Stole (like the ones used by Clergy at some churches).

*RELIABILITY AND OPTIONS: Is there a Plan B if something happens? One of our advantages is that we don't depend on a single individual. We are a team, and in cases of emergency, chances are we can find a solution; a more dificult task for officiants who work solo. We also have male & female officiants available.

*MARRIAGE LICENSE: Do you help with the Marriage License Process? Yes, we do! Our service can be as simple as the regular Wedding Officiant Service but we also have the Full Document Package in which we help you with the requirements to get the Marriage License even before you arrive to Puerto Rico!
