As a wedding photographer, I have witnessed over 500 wedding ceremonies. When it came to my own wedding, I really wanted something that didn't feel like a memorized template or a transaction before the party started. Beyond the music, the food, the dress, and the flowers, the marriage ceremony is the core moment of the wedding day and shouldn't be something to just get over with.

Frustrated about finding *that* wedding officiant, I started browsing through my past weddings. I remembered Romie & Christian's wedding and beautiful ceremony with a thorough story that helped me learn so much from them. I contacted their officiant, Zevio, and we met over a video call. Upon that first meeting, he shared every bit of his process, after which we left feeling happy and confident about booking him for this vital role.

As the date approached, we met virtually again for the ceremony workshop. Zevio was SO organized and had an effortless, remote workflow that was easy to manage in between our busy schedules.

Zevio attended our rehearsal and politely worked with our wedding planner to ensure everybody was on the same page about the different stages of the ceremony.

Finally, on the wedding day, he went way beyond our wildest expectations in his eloquent retelling of our story, including all the elements that are true to us: our deep love for each other, families and friends, our adventurous and fun personalities, our individual paths towards each other, and words of love and affirmations from our loved ones.

A month after our wedding, our guests still rave about the ceremony as their favorite part of the day, mentioning how they've never heard anything like it. Many of them thought Zevio was one of our friends instead of a hired vendor. He really means it when he says, "True to you." We're eternally grateful for a wedding ceremony we will want to rewatch and cherish forever.

Zevio was the officiant for my husband and I's wedding mid November and from the very beginning he was organized and wonderful. He helped us plan our ceremony by drafting it out completely and thoroughly going over everything at our wedding rehearsal. Zevio was responsive, adapting to change and just a pleasure to have. He made everyone laugh during the ceremony, his personalized introduction was perfect. We are so grateful for him. I am so happy that we chose Zevio as our wedding officiant. We made a couple of very non-traditional requests which Zevio accommodated and surpassed our expectations. He was able to adjust perfectly to our sense of humor and our families’ needs. His speeches made me the audience chuckle (which was what we wanted). He will literally send you a script and have you make any changes that need to be made. He printed out our personal vows for us to read. From the moment I reached out to Zevio to inquire about my wedding, he was professional, kind, and he responded right away (rare for vendors in PR). As soon as we met via a video call, we knew we wanted him to officiate our wedding. He was very detailed and had positive energy. He thought of things I didn’t even think of and I’m a super detailed person. He made the process of getting a marriage license in PR seamless (it’s more complicated than getting one in the states) and he walked us through the entire process. He was in constant communication with us right up until the moment we got married and after. But the best thing about Zevio is his way with words and the amount of heartfelt effort he puts into the ceremony. I kid you not, there was not a dry eye in the house. He really captured our love story beautifully, he included family and friends, and he suggested my husband write vows for my son. Hands down that was the best and most memorable moment of our wedding and EVERYONE was talking about it afterward. Had he not suggested it, we probably would not have thought to do that. I am forever grateful to Zevio for that special moment. My husband and I are truly so happy we chose Zevio as our officiant. He really made our ceremony beautiful and incredibly memorable. Out of all of our vendors, he was our favorite.

Our old San Juan wedding blew all our expectations out of the water. We planned a small ceremony on the beach with a couple family members. Zevio took great care of us and was extremely flexible as we were figuring out the details. He took the time to write a beautiful personalized story that touched all of us in a special way. Zevio is so thoughtful to every little detail he made a destination wedding a breeze! He asked questions about details that I didn’t even think of, he’s almost like a wedding coordinator. My husband and I had a very small/elopement ceremony on the beach. We had a few friends with us, he asked what our colors were and pointed out that we might want our friends to wear colors that coordinated so our pictures would turn our nice, he even made sure he was wearing something to go along with our colors.

Everyone is supposed to say that the wedding ceremony should be the most important part of the wedding. Oftentimes, it tends to be the most boring element, regardless of sentiments and importance.
