My husband and I cannot recommend Zevio highly enough.
From our very first consultation, it was clear that he genuinely cared about telling our story well. We met with him twice before the wedding – first to share our love story and vision for the ceremony, and then for a detailed planning session where he walked through both the emotional and logistical aspects of the day. Nothing was overlooked. He thoughtfully discussed everything from how we met and what we loved about each other to the finer details of the processional, ensuring every moment of the ceremony felt intentional and personal.
Beyond our conversations, Zevio had us complete individual questionnaires about our relationship and personalities, and even invited a few close friends to share stories and insights about us. The amount of care and preparation he invested was evident in every word he spoke on our wedding day.
The ceremony he crafted was more beautiful than we could have imagined. It was deeply personal, heartfelt, and genuinely reflective of who we are as a couple. He seamlessly wove together stories, humor, and meaningful moments in a way that made us feel seen, celebrated, and respected. Amazing from start to finish!!!

After attending many weddings, my husband & I knew we didn’t want a traditional ceremony. We envisioned something deeply personal to our relationship & meaningful in a way that felt completely true to us. What we didn’t expect was to find someone who could articulate our love story more beautifully than we ever could ourselves. Zevio exceeded every expectation.
From our very first interaction, he was proactive & thoughtful; offering detailed information about his services & setting up an introductory video call to make sure we were aligned. We immediately felt understood.
Planning a micro destination wedding in Puerto Rico came with unique challenges, especially since Spanish is not our first language. Zevio anticipated our needs, provided resources before we even knew we needed them & guided us through the local government requirements with patience & clarity. His communication was prompt & reassuring throughout the entire process.
What truly sets Zevio apart is his gift for storytelling. He crafted our love story using separate questionnaires sent to us & even our friends. Although we had only just met him in person that day, he spoke about our relationship as if he had walked alongside us from the beginning. He captured a depth & nuance that we couldn’t have expressed ourselves & gave language to what we feel.
The ceremony was intimate, emotional & unforgettable. Our family still talks about how captivating & heartfelt it was and how & personable Zevio was from the moment he met everyone in our hotel lobby.

I am so happy that we chose Zevio as our wedding officiant. We made a couple of very non-traditional requests which Zevio accommodated and surpassed our expectations. He was able to adjust perfectly to our sense of humor and our families’ needs. His speeches made me the audience chuckle (which was what we wanted). He also helped us navigate the world of local government bureaucracy and was quick to reply with his guidance. Devious ir truly 1 of 1! The attention to detail and planning he puts into his craft is the best I've ever seen. He told our love story in a way that was fun and kept everyone engaged. He will literally send you a script and have you make any changes that need to be made. He printed out our personal vows for us to read. As a wedding photographer, I have witnessed over 500 wedding ceremonies. When it came to my own wedding, I really wanted something that didn't feel like a memorized template or a transaction before the party started. Beyond the music, the food, the dress, and the flowers, the marriage ceremony is the core moment of the wedding day and shouldn't be something to just get over with.
Frustrated about finding *that* wedding officiant, I started browsing through my past weddings. I remembered Romie & Christian's wedding and beautiful ceremony with a thorough story that helped me learn so much from them. I contacted their officiant, Zevio, and we met over a video call. Upon that first meeting, he shared every bit of his process, after which we left feeling happy and confident about booking him for this vital role.
As the date approached, we met virtually again for the ceremony workshop. Zevio was SO organized and had an effortless, remote workflow that was easy to manage in between our busy schedules.
Zevio attended our rehearsal and politely worked with our wedding planner to ensure everybody was on the same page about the different stages of the ceremony.
Finally, on the wedding day, he went way beyond our wildest expectations in his eloquent retelling of our story, including all the elements that are true to us: our deep love for each other, families and friends, our adventurous and fun personalities, our individual paths towards each other, and words of love and affirmations from our loved ones.
A month after our wedding, our guests still rave about the ceremony as their favorite part of the day, mentioning how they've never heard anything like it. Many of them thought Zevio was one of our friends instead of a hired vendor. He really means it when he says, "True to you." We're eternally grateful for a wedding ceremony we will want to rewatch and cherish forever.
Zevio's unique gift is something I wish for every couple getting married. His ability to create a ceremony that is as meaningful and intentional as ours is truly priceless. It's an investment that will continue to bring joy and cherished memories for years and a true heirloom I'm so grateful to have on video.

From the moment I reached out to Zevio to inquire about my wedding, he was professional, kind, and he responded right away (rare for vendors in PR). As soon as we met via a video call, we knew we wanted him to officiate our wedding. He was very detailed and had positive energy. He thought of things I didn’t even think of and I’m a super detailed person. He made the process of getting a marriage license in PR seamless (it’s more complicated than getting one in the states) and he walked us through the entire process. He was in constant communication with us right up until the moment we got married and after. But the best thing about Zevio is his way with words and the amount of heartfelt effort he puts into the ceremony. I kid you not, there was not a dry eye in the house. He really captured our love story beautifully, he included family and friends, and he suggested my husband write vows for my son. Hands down that was the best and most memorable moment of our wedding and EVERYONE was talking about it afterward. Had he not suggested it, we probably would not have thought to do that. I am forever grateful to Zevio for that special moment. My husband and I are truly so happy we chose Zevio as our officiant. He really made our ceremony beautiful and incredibly memorable. Zevio is so thoughtful to every little detail he made a destination wedding a breeze! He asked questions about details that I didn’t even think of, he’s almost like a wedding coordinator. My husband and I had a very small/elopement ceremony on the beach. We had a few friends with us, he asked what our colors were and pointed out that we might want our friends to wear colors that coordinated so our pictures would turn our nice, he even made sure he was wearing something to go along with our colors.
My husband and I were overly impressed with him we couldn’t wait to write a review about him! Zevio made the ceremony about us… our love story and included stories from our friends/family, how they viewed our love story.

Everyone is supposed to say that the wedding ceremony should be the most important part of the wedding. Oftentimes, it tends to be the most boring element, regardless of sentiments and importance. However, Zevio made sure that our wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect! We all laughed, we cried, and we went through so many emotions within those 30 minutes. The ceremony was perfectly tailored to us and represented who we are as a couple. Zevio met with us several times prior to the ceremony to make sure everything was running smoothly. Zevio was a match since the beginning. We had a zoom meeting and bonded so well we decided immediately to go with him. He was our first and only choice. He was with us since the beginning asking all the details and really catering to our themed wedding (it was medieval/Star Wars). He made a story true to us starting with the classic “in a galaxy far far away…” and he always had a Spanish and English version of all our papers which was very helpful knowing our families spoke both.
He sends you google forms to fill out your story (one for each person for different points of views) as well as sending it to people of our choosing. Before the wedding he will come to the rehearsal and act everything out like 3 times or until we’re all sure and happy with everything. If you’re more like me that has to see everything in paper then he will send you the script (without the story because it’s a surprise) and his timeline as well.

We could not have been more thrilled to work with Zevio on our family-only beach wedding in Puerto Rico. He was such a pleasure to work with. He was very accommodating to what we wanted our ceremony to be and helped integrate my sibling as a co-officiant into the experience. He clearly pours a ton of care and energy into being a great officiant and gathers a lot of information so that he can write a really meaningful script for the wedding. If you’re reading this review… He is the one without a doubt!!! Zevio, was the perfect officiant for us! He matched our energy so well. We are very untraditional and love to just go with the flow and have a good time and Zevio embodies that perfectly in his words at our ceremony. Mr. Zevio was an amazing speaker that made the ceremony fun and special. His way of speaking from the heart and captivated the attention of everyone since his storytelling skills were on point. I want to give a special thanks to Mr. Zevio for having the patience to deal with us, specially during the rehearsal since my now husband can be a pain in the butt but everything came out perfectly. 10/10 would recommend Zevio for any wedding, not only he is good as a speaker - he also made the paperwork smooth and is available to answer any questions. Our experience with True To You Weddings by Zevio was absolutely unique and amazing. He really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and your story. He first reaches out to the couple to go over some details about the type of ceremony that the couple wishes to have. Then, he reaches out to each person individually to get their versions of the couple's love story. After that, he reaches out to the couple's friends and family to fill in any gaps and to add more details to the love story. Lastly, he performs a rehearsal (without any spoilers) with the couple and the wedding party in order to make sure that everything runs smoothly and to ensure that everyone is in a good angle so the photographers can take good pictures during the ceremony. Everything was uniquely personalized to the couple's wishes and the ceremony turned out to be extremely beautiful and sentimental. Zevio is an amazing officiant and you won't regret hiring him to officiate your wedding. Mine turned out truly special and amazing thanks to him and all the hard work he did. Thank you Zevio! Zevio tailored our wedding ceremony in such a way that was “true to us.” We envisioned a ceremony that would meld our respective cultures i.e. Jewish and Filipino. As a Jewish person himself, Zevio was very knowledgeable of the elements of a Jewish wedding, so we were able to seamlessly infuse the Jewish traditions into the ceremony. And although he wasn’t as familiar with the Filipino wedding traditions, he was willing to listen and do his research in order to honor our heritage. He crafted a beautiful story of how we met and how we got engaged and told it in a fun and romantic way. We were impressed by his creativity, humor, and ability to respectfully integrate both of our cultural traditions.
We could tell that Zevio knows his sh*t from the very first meeting we had with him. He walked us through his process, explained the timeline, and helped us realize other facets of the ceremony that might be missing. He thought through every minute detail of the ceremony to make sure everything would flow smoothly. He was also reliable, transparent, responsive, and brought new ideas to the table. He is very professional and great at his job!
Zevio truly cared for us and was willing to go the extra mile. Although it wasn’t part of his job, he helped us procure a couple of equipment needed for the ceremony at no additional cost. He was very helpful and simply an all-around nice guy.
We highly recommend Zevio if you are looking for a customized, memorable ceremony. He really delivered on the promise of making weddings “true to you.”

We had an amazing experience working with Zevio. My husband and I had a very small wedding with only 6 people including my us. He was able to handle all the required paperwork which was great because we don't live in Puerto Rico and we didn't have a wedding coordinator for our event. Most importantly, he wrote us the most special ceremony, including a detailed love story about us. Because we had such an intimate guest list, working with someone we had chemistry with was super important to us. We wanted to feel like he was part of our group, which he did (without sacrificing professionalism one bit!). It was also important to me that we had the ability to customize certain language within the ceremony and he made it easy to do so. I could go on and on about how perfect he helped make our day.
