Weaver’s fresh cut flowers

Although a little hard to find, worth everything, very beautiful and well priced arrangements. Be sure to book as soon as you know your date! Books up very fast.

Let me just start by saying I was thoroughly AMAZED! I had been nervous after our first visit with Mrs. Weaver, only because I could not find any pictures of her work, nor did she have an album of pictures of her work. Let me tell ya, the day of the wedding I was SO EXCITED to finally see these bouquets come to life! They were perfect; actually they were better than I had imagined them to be. I originally took her ONE picture of what I kind of wanted with a few notes written on it, never took her a color swatch of my bridesmaid dresses and the bouquets ended up being the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen and matched the dresses PERFECTLY. Her prices can't be beat either! Just a heads up for all you future lookers into her work, you need to supply the ribbon for bouquets (if needed), and vases you want used if its for centerpiece's or flowers for an altar. Other than that, you don't need to do anything but sit back and wait to be amazed by your flower arrangements. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

A little known secret in southern Maryland is this Mennonite couple, Elvin and Maryann Weaver. The all in cost for 4 bouquets, 6 boutonnières, 2 corsages, and 20 centerpieces was $530! Yep! You read that right. They grow their own flowers so if you stay with seasonal flowers you cost will be only a fraction of a regular florist. The flowers we went with in the early spring were peonies, Hydrangia, snap dragons, and runculus. I wish I could show you a pic. They were "stunning" according to guests. As they are Mennonites, they have neither a phone or email. You can contact them by mail but it is best to visit and chat. Bring photos of the look you want and if the flowers are not readily available they will suggest alternates to achieve the same look. They also order flowers. Rumor is that they supply flowers to the White House. shhh. That might be confidential.
