The trio consists of Chelsea Hunt on fiddle, Lindsay Turnquist on hammered dulcimer, octave mandolin and percussion and Steve Marty on guitars, mandolin and foot percussion. Focusing on traditional dance forms, including jigs, reels and waltzes, this trio is sure to get your feet tapping. Both Chelsea and Steve have their roots in classical music, lending an air of sophistication to the more down-home types of tunes the trio plays. The instruments also combine for beautiful ceremony processionals, recessionals, and gathering music. Steve and Lindsay are both former members of The Montana Mandolin Society, so have been playing music together since 1999, and were playing music with Chelsea's father at that same time. Chelsea plays with a number of other local bands and joined Steve and Lindsay in 2014.

Music for the memories
My fiance and I debated having a band at our wedding quite a bit, and we decided that Weatherwood would add just the perfect touch to the wedding. They played for both the ceremony and reception, but were super super humble and flexible as we changed our minds about what we wanted. We did a contra dance at the wedding- and they were so much fun. They added such a beautiful classic touch to our day, I won't forget their gift of music!

Westherwood was great! Not only was the music beautiful and perfect for the sweet, country feel we wanted but they were very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.
