Tom & Molly and the Grassy Mountain Band did an exceptional job playing during our wedding ceremony. We wanted traditional folk and bluegrass music and they delivered. In my opinion, having great music at a wedding is crucial. It’s a big decision to make sure your guests keep a little rhythm during the celebration. The Grassy Mountain Band more then delivered on this. Their music was the perfect touch for our outdoor wedding surrounded by the mountains of the Big Sky area. They played before, during, and after the ceremony. It was perfect! One of the most memorable moments is when we captured a photo with the band during the post ceremony celebration. Thanks again Tom, Molly and the Grassy Mountain Band, your band is awesome!

Tom, Molly and a fiddler we added were fantastic. They set the perfect tone for our wedding and everyone loved them. They were super flexible with our slightly fluid wedding day structure and were super easy to work with. They even learned one of my wife's favorite songs (Coldplay - green eyes) for our first dance and it sounded amazing. I give them a high recommendation.

Grassy Mountain was the hit of the rehearsal dinner. The bride and groom
said that they really set the mood for the weekend of festivities. They
were very professional, showed up well in advance to set up, and played
until we started moving tables out of the venue. Fantastic sound, just what
we were expecting, they played bluegrass and some great innovative covers of
contemporary songs. They interacted well with the guests and were even
flexible in allowing a guest to sit-in with them. We highly recommend
Grassy Mountain. You won't be disappointed.

We highly recommend Grassy Mountain! This incredibly talented and easy to work with duo played at our wedding in the Flathead Valley this fall. Grassy Mountain provided acoustic music during our ceremony, set the festive vibe during cocktail hour, and sparked our guests of all ages to come to the dance floor. Molly and Tom answered our questions in a timely and efficient manner, and provided fitting suggestions regarding our ceremony sound equipment, background music during dinner, and song selection. In addition to checking all of our discussed expectations, Grass Mountain’s openness and kindness was demonstrated over and over throughout the event. My father was planning on playing his guitar and singing Harvest Moon by Neil Young for our first dance. At the last minute Grassy Mountain graciously offered to accompany my father during his first ever musical performance. The song was a hit and my dad hasn’t stopped talking about getting to play with the band! Later, in the evening Grassy Mountain’s diverse capabilities as musicians were demonstrated again as they bought down the house by backing up my 7 year-old nephew who played and sang Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash. Grassy Mountain provided great entertainment that only truly experienced and well-rounded musicians can pull off. Their sweet & professional rapport created a once in a lifetime experience that we will be reliving for many years.
