Dan Watson is the owner and principal photographer of Watson Studios. He has been obsessed with photography since the age of 18 when he took a darkroom photography class in high school. After studying Photography and Studio Art at Clark University, Dan went on to teach photography for several years and then received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005.

Since 2007, Dan has been photographing weddings with a style that emphasizes the beautiful, timeless moments that are present at every wedding. Dan is passionate about weddings and his work has been featured in wedding numerous international publications such as Southern Weddings Magazine, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Ruffled, Once Wed, Weddings Unveiled, Wedding Flowers Magazine, PDN Magazine, among others. He won First Place in the Top Knots International Wedding Photography Competition for Details and Watson Studios has been voted Best Wedding Photographers in Knoxville, TN several years in a row.
