Wonderful Nashville-Based Team!

Dan and Kelly are both so kind and talented, and were a joy to work with. We booked Watson Studios more than a year and a half before our wedding date, and throughout that time they were always responsive to my many questions and thoughts. We could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos and would highly recommend them for anyone getting married, whether in Nashville or elsewhere!

Having Dan and his lovely wife at our wedding was like having two more friends there. They were easy to work with and the results were perfect! They captured the day in the most beautiful way. They are so incredible at what they do and as people who work in film, we were so impressed with the eye for composition, color, light, and spontaneity. Everyone looks beautiful, happy, and natural in our wedding photos. My husband says the heat was so intense and they were real troopers. He was in Starship Troopers and had to get a reference in since Dan and him are both sci-fi fans. highly recommend you use Watson Studios for all of your photography needs.

This is SO long overdue since my husband and I got married almost one year ago, but I am still marveling at the gorgeous photos Watson Studios did of our wedding. Photography was THE most important thing to me regarding wedding planning, and I couldn't be more pleased. Dan got every special moment. He has a special way of grabbing those moments you don't quite realize are happening on the big day, but that warm your heart with forever memories when you see the photos. The way your groom is gazing at you when you're looking elsewhere, how truly happy you look smiling at your groom, that exact moment you burst into laughter, a tender exchange during the father-daughter dance...Every special moment captured in a very natural, beautiful quality with the perfect light.

Other than photos beyond my expectations, Dan is the guy you want on your wedding day. Dan is exceptionally calm with great humor. He essentially laid out our entire schedule for us, and when we had a bit of a fiasco with the hair dresser taking forever (and ever), he professionally, but firmly spoke with the other vendor to get us back on track. We ended up having to switch the guys' photos for the girls' and he improvised without blinking an eye.

Dan also delivered our photos quickly and gave us a veteran's discount. For Christmas in the following months, he even sent us an ornament of a framed wedding photo. I highly recommend Watson Studios to any other bride on her big day.

Two years later, and I'm still over the moon with my wedding photos and engagement session photos! I knew once I saw his portfolio that I wanted Dan to be our wedding photographer (I love the lightness of his work and his eye for gorgeous moments!) I truly feel like our photos are timeless, and I show them off to anyone and everyone because every important moment and detail was beautifully captured. (In fact, the only downfall is that I like ALL the photos so narrowing them down for an album has been so tough for me!) Dan was super easy to work with and incredibly professional. I also loved that he was great at posing us naturally; it definitely shows in the photos. I had very high expectations for our photography, and Watson Studios definitely exceeded them! Highly recommend!

Dan was such a joy to work with! He is super easy going and very professional. The day of, we were running a bit late (our fault) which cut into our picture time, but Dan adapted well, and we still got all of the beautiful pictures we wanted. Our pictures turned out perfectly, and we are very happy with our decision to use Watson Studios for them.

Dan shot my wedding as his first. Dan is artistic & that is why he became a photographer. He has been able to mix his artistic ability with weddings. This creates a look that is unique to Dan alone & this I feel sets him apart in the competitive wedding photography world.

The best decision ever! Dan and his crew made our day spectacular. They were able to capture every moment perfectly and didn't miss a single detail. I highly recommend Dan Watson Studios for wedding photography. My daughter had an outdoor wedding at our family farm in June. Wedding day was a blur for me, as mother of the bride, but I had no worries about the wedding photos, as Dan and his assistant captured all the special moments and unique touches that were part of the wedding day.

As I viewed the photos, I relived the day and caught images I had missed. Dan Watson is easy to work with. After the wedding, I needed help with my album and how to do online; all I had to do was pick up the phone and call. I can't wait to get my album of my daughter's special day! Vickie Webb

Dan is a true professional and we couldn’t be more happy! We didn’t have a videographer so it was really important that we got a great photos to remember it by. It was wonderful to go back and see it all from another set of eyes. He caught the candid and special moments, group and family photos and captured the wedding details beautifully! Definitely the best part about getting the photos was that in the moment, we were having such a blast we kind of forgot how romantic our wedding was, but now we get to relive it in our photos. Truly treasure these shots, so lovely.

My husband and I live in Iowa but decided to have our wedding in East Tennessee because of its unmatched beauty and serenity. When looking for photographers, I had only websites and reviews to go off of since we were not from the area. I fell in love with Dan Watson’s elegant style of photography, bringing out special and emotional moments of the bride and groom as well as the fun party moments of the reception. I took a chance, not having met Dan or knowing anyone he’s worked with, and decided to hire him as our photographer. I knew even after we got our engagement photos back that we had made the right decision – they were absolutely gorgeous! He did such a wonderful job of taking the thoughts in my head and turning them into exactly what we had wanted for our photos. Then the wedding came, and he was SO easy to work with. He knew we had a timeline to stick to for the day but was flexible to accommodate last-minute changes or requests. We recently got the photos back from the wedding and reception, and they were absolutely perfect! He captured so many perfect moments of myself and my husband, our families and friends, and the beauty of our venue (RT Lodge, Maryville ,TN). I would highly recommend Dan to anyone that wants a flawless photographer experience with incredible photos that will take you back and make you smile at the memories of your special day.

Dan Watson at Watson Studios is a fabulous wedding photographer. He took all the photos at my daughter's June outdoor wedding. Dan is very easy to work with. He is available to answer any questions you might have before, during and after the wedding. Dan's attention to all the little details is amazing. His pictures of the ceremony itself were great and no one even noticed he was taking them! The shots of the "getting ready" process were fun and such a treasure to have. He works with you to be sure he captures all the important moments of the entire wedding day. He has a wonderful artistic eye and this shows in his photos. He also has a Photo Blaster that allows guests to take photo booth type pictures. The guests at my daughter's wedding loved having that fun opportunity. I highly recommend Dan Watson if you are looking for a photographer that is above and beyond all the other photographers.

Dan was fantastic to work with! Once engaged and starting the chaotic and confusing process of choosing vendors, he was the first to respond, so informative on everything included and at a reasonable price. It is overwhelming to search for vendors of all kinds when you are getting married, so someone who is timely and answers all your questions and then some, is very refreshing. There aren't hidden fees, and his work is great.

Another note, also book through him for the Photo Blaster. It was the favorite part of our wedding for all our guests. It gave us those party pics for the most amazing memories from our wedding. It it simple to operate, and guests get to leave with photo strips. The best part is all the photos are available digitally as well so you can buy or save the prints later.

Highly recommend for both wedding photography and the photo blaster, and great to have 1 vendor to go through for both!

I was so happy and pleased with Watson-Studios. They were recommended by our wedding venue the Marco Beach Ocean Resort as one of their vendors. When I contacted them, Dan was able to accommodate my needs and fit into our budget.

We were extremely pleased when we met Dan the day of our wedding. He was so nice and extremely professional. During the "getting ready" part of the day, you didn't even know he was there with us! He was snapping away getting shots but not in anyone's way!

We did not feel overwhelmed or like we were being pulled in a million different directions for photographs after the ceremony. He completed my request of family photos and then took photos of my husband and I. He chose some great spots around our resort and beach and we are looking forward to seeing the photos soon!

Out of all the photographers that i have talked to , this company/team is with out a doubt the best of the best . I never had to worry whether they were going to capture the right moments,they captured everything . They are the best photography team out there . Dan and Natalie Watson are two of the most wonderful and kind-hearted individuals you will meet. I can say, without a doubt, choosing this duo was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. My husband and I are a little camera shy, but you couldn't tell in our photos because Dan & Natalie made us feel so comfortable. On our wedding day, I was completely at ease because they kept us on time (but never in a rush) and they are also genuinely fun to be around. They are polite and considerate when managing friends & family, and they get the shots. Period.

All of our pictures are impeccable and capture our sweetest moments between friends and loved ones throughout the day.

We also chose Watson-Studios for our engagement pictures. On top of taking our pictures, Natalie actually created custom Save the Dates for us. Our guests raved about them -- they were better than anything we could find on Etsy or invitations sites. AND the Watsons were incredibly easy to work when we picked out the guestbook, wedding album and parent album. They have a plenty of variety and options to choose from -- we went with gorgeous leather-bound albums stamped with our names.

It's been 3 months since our wedding and we're still in contact with Natalie & Dan. Not because we have to, just because we love them and their work.

Watson is unbelievably talented. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our wedding pictures!!! From our first conversation to the last email I have enjoyed every interaction. Everyone looks fantastic in our pictures and they were able to captured so many unexpected moments. Natalie and Dan are wonderful! As a couple they work great together. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Watson Studios to capture the most memorable day of our lives! Not only were the photos incredible, Natalie and Dan and their team were so personable and caring from the first phone conversation we had with them. Talent, and a professional looking finished product is extremely important when choosing a wedding photographer, but just as important is the quality and personalities of team of people that you are working with on your special day. Natalie and Dan are such nice people, and made us feel comfortable and calm at every one of our wedding events. It was like having our friends there with us taking our photos! Will and I had the pleasure of having Dan and Natalie Watson photograph our wedding. They were so easy to work with before the actual event, very quick to respond to email, answer questions, and help us choose the right package for us. We had conversations about the feel Will and I wanted for our wedding and the types of pictures we liked, we did not give them a shot list but totally trusted them, they did not disappoint! On the day of the wedding they were incredibly respectful of our special day and were able to capture beautiful moments without feeling intrusive or being over bearing. We were able to act natural and enjoy ourselves, Natalie and Dan did not make us do any uncomfortable staged pictures. During the ceremony they blended in seamlessly while capturing incredible pictures. Family pictures after the ceremony were so well organized and went by so quick, they gave directions kindly and made everyone feel comfortable. Pictures for just Will and I were so enjoyable even my husband who usually does not enjoy getting his picture taken commented on how he enjoyed it. We were able to take many family pictures and wonderful pictures by ourselves and still get to the reception in under an hour. They were able to capture all the excitement and joy at the reception. I loved looking through the pictures and seeing all the small things they captured that I did not see that night. When it came to getting back our pictures and creating our album Natalie and Dan were exceptional to work with. They listened to my requests, offered their artistic opinions, and responded very quickly to emails. I cannot say enough good things about this team of photographers. I am so happy they were at our wedding and look at the beautiful pictures everyday!! If Will and I ever need a photographer again we will definitely use them again.

I really cannot say enough good things about these two and their photography & people skills! Our wedding was a destination wedding in Northern California, Mendocino and we really wanted to capture that raw insane beauty of the Mendocino coastline while also capturing our loving moments with friends and family when we said I do. Natalie and Dan did not let us down, in fact they exceeded our every expectation. There was never an awkward moment, never an energy change from taking photo's with them. You hardly noticed their presence, yet we had hundreds of amazing images! I hate it when you are at a wedding and the photographer is always in the way or is that one eye sore during the "moment". All of our bridesmaids and groomsmen (10 and 9!) agreed with every sentiment. Wedding photographers have to have a fine balance of not really being noticed but yet being there to capture everything in the most beautiful way possible! Natalie and Dan have this down to a fine art... the photo's are our proof! We LOVE them, every single one..

We could not be more happy choosing Natalie and Dan for our big day, it was our first decision in our wedding planning process and the best one! You want to remember your wedding day with every detail that was there to create it. Our photographs are constant reminders of that amazing day that we can look at forever!

I knew immediately after Bryan popped the question that we had to have Watson-Studios photograph our special day. Within in 24 hours of our engagement I called Natalie to schedule an appointment to meet her and Dan, and I was so excited! I fell in love with their work two years prior through their blog that I would follow religiously. Along with our wedding we had them shoot our engagement photos as well as my bridal portraits. Bryan was kind of nervous prior to the engagement shoot, but Natalie and Dan were so great at making us feel comfortable while having fun. All of our photos were truly amazing! We could not have asked for more beautiful pictures. They captured our engagement and wedding absolutely perfectly! Without a doubt Natalie and Dan Watson are the BEST photographers in Knoxville! Not only because of their incredible work, but also because they are both two wonderful people! Out of all the decisions we made for the wedding choosing Watson-Studios was hands down the best! WE LOVE THEM!

Natalie and Dan are wonderful photographers! From the beginning of my wedding planning, I knew that the most important part to me would be my pictures. The Watsons are THE BEST! By far. I was so lucky to have them photograph my wedding, and I would of course, suggest them to any- and everyone, no matter where you live. They are awesome, so friendly, and just so much fun to work with. If money is a question, don't question it - they are worth way more than they charge! Dan and Natalie are truly talented, very professional photographers. As a bride, I was put to ease by their encouraging words and guidance. They were able to guide me and my wedding party to produce beautiful photos. They were/are fun!! My husband and I were married in July and how blessed/surprised we were to receive a beautiful Christmas ornament incasing a wedding photo for our first Christmas together-in December! We met with the Watsons as our first choice for our wedding photography but were unfortunately unable to book them because of a date conflict. Don't make the same mistake we did!!! If I would have known then what I was compromising I would have picked a different date! They truly are the best in Knoxville and I find myself wondering how our pics would have turned out if we booked our first choice! Learn from my mistake...a good (or in our case, bad) photographer makes all the difference!

Our pictures turned out amazing! Even better than we expected. (and we knew they would be good) They truly captured the spirit of the day in a way that was unique to us.

They are professional, over the top creative, and masters of their craft. But, most importantly, they care. The Watsons went above and beyond for us because they treated our wedding as if it were their own...and on one of the most special days of your life, you wouldn't want anyone else in your corner. I could not have been happier with Dan and Natalie. I knew of them and had been stalking their blog before our first meeting, but I still couldn’t envision what my wedding photos would come out looking like. What if my skin was splotchy? What if my eyes were closed in half the pictures or I had a cheesy fake smile? And don’t get me started on my husband- at first he couldn’t understand what “the big deal was” about finding the right photographer or making such a fuss about pictures in the first place. He was sure that the whole process would be awkward and stiff and posed…

And then we had our engagement pictures taken. Dan and Natalie completely put us at ease, and by the end of the session, my husband was saying, “I can’t wait to do that again!” They enjoy what they’re doing, and they are experts at doing it. They captured every moment of our incredible day, and our pictures exceeded our every expectation. They are professional and extremely well-organized. As a bride, it’s important to be able to trust the vendors that you choose to do the job you hired them to do and not feel that you have to micromanage the details…and Dan and Natalie quickly alleviated any stress or concern I had about the process of capturing the images of our day.

When I met with Natalie (Dan was out of town) I had no doubts we had found our photographers for our wedding. I felt like I had already known her for years and we had just met! Natalie and Dan are so personable, easygoing , fun and creative. We love their style in that they capture all the moments as they happen and the photographs aren’t staged. Their attention to detail is amazing. We will always treasure the slideshow they created for us (they included the song from our wedding on it). It was a great gift for our parent too! It has been a year since our wedding and whenever we talk to friends or family they still mention the photographs and how nice the photographers were! Awesome work done by these two wonderful people. They photographed my wedding a year ago, and I could not ask for better pictures. They have a way of capturing the moment...Our pictures tell a story about our special day. I will forever be grateful for Dan and Natalie's talent. Dan and Natalie Watson have a gift. They know what they are doing when it comes to capturing precious moments. When I was planning for my wedding, I had a friend tell me that the most important thing about my big day will be the photos. She couldn't have been more right, and Watson-Studios created exactly what I was hoping for. We loved them so much, we had a newborn session for our first son. I first heard of Dan and Natalie when I was interviewing a previous client of theirs to be my wedding photographer. I asked to see her wedding album and instantly feel inlove with their style. I emailed Natalie later that night and instantly fell inlove with her, yes, via email. I met with Dan and Natalie and instantly felt drawn to them by their loving, creative and nurturing spirit they bring. They compliment eachother so well, when one runs out of ideas the other pops up with more. They are so easy to be around you often forget they are taking pictures of you. My husband is not fond of having pictures taken but apon meeting Dan and Natalie he reported the ease and comfort he felt in their presence. They listened and took what I wanted from my pictures and made it so much more. I honestly could not have picked a better couple to be such a HUGE part of our wedding day. Everything about them, their spirit, creativity, joy and love for their job is so easily seen glowing from them. They simply captivate you infront of and behind the lense.

In searching for a wedding photographer, I asked a co-worker about who had done her wedding, since I admired her photos. She had used Watson Studios, so I contacted Dan, and the rest was history! I was so pleased that we chose him. Dan was a pleasure to work with - always very enthusiastic and VERY accommodating. He made us feel so comfortable during both the engagement and wedding photos. He's very flexible and open to accommodating your needs and schedule to ensure that you end up with the photos that you want without adding any additional stress to the hectic day. I initially had thought that I would want mostly portrait-style shots. Dan focused on those, but also took many candid photos, and many of those ended up being my favorite! I would recommend Watson Studios to anyone and am thrilled with end result that really captured our special day.

We had a destination wedding so finding a photographer seemed daunting at first since all of our planning was to be done out of state. Luckily, we were hooked up to Dan through our wedding coordinator and we are so pleased with the final product. As a person who genuinely hates having her picture taken, I was surprised and overjoyed to get our pictures back and actually love them. Dan was easy going and friendly as well as easy to communicate with through email and/or phone. We are so happy we were able to have Dan help us remember our big day forever!

Dan and Natalie are absolutely AMAZING. I was referred to them by a photographer friend/relative, and couldn't have been happier with the choice! I actually didn't meet Dan or Natalie until after we had already signed our contract; my fiance and I were both living out of town at the time and made the decision based solely on their beautiful pictures and wonderful reviews! They were so nice and professional at all times. The first time I met with them I was so glad we decided to ask them to shoot our wedding, they are so fun to be around. I highly recommend Dan and his assistant for wedding day photos. We were married in North Carolina this fall and the pictures turned out beautiful! Dan and his assistant really have a great eye for scenery; they had already scouted out pretty places to take pictures before we'd even met. In addition, Dan was so calm and laid-back on the big day, which was nice to have with so many other things going on. Thank you, Dan - we'll cherish the pictures forever!

Watson Studios did a wonderful job at my wedding. This husband and wife team were a true team and seemed to be everywhere taking photos of our special day. They were everywhere but it certainly didn't seem like it. They were laid back and in the background, not directing a show. They got all the shots I wanted and even asked my parents if there were any shots they missed before the reception was over. The quality of their photography was amazing and they were very prompt in returning photos to us. I would definitely recommend them to other brides and grooms looking for two professionally trained photographers to help capture their perfect day!
