Bayside Event Center is the only premier waterfront wedding venue in Galveston, Texas. This is the ideal location for the couple searching for a stunning venue to immerse themselves in tranquil beauty on their big day. Bayside Event Center can host up to 150 guests in the Grand Ballroom. Your guest will marvel at the elegance of the venue, complete with Italian marble tile, white columns, granite, and ambient, dimmable lighting with sunset views. Open the french doors to the beautiful decks over the water with breathtaking views of Offatts Bayou in Galveston Bay. Our lighted open-air deck is perfect for your ceremony and the covered deck has bar service and cocktail tables making it the perfect hang-out viewing deck.

Offering DIY and all-inclusive packages, Bayside Event Center can provide everything you need for an elegant and stress-free wedding. Catering, bar service, DJ and event planning are all services couples can take advantage of. The package also includes linens and decorations, arches, a photo booth, and more. The staff will tailor the space to reflect your style. Setup and clean-up services are provided, enabling you to relax and enjoy the day to its fullest. Bayside Event Center is a wheelchair-accessible venue. DIY is also an option.

OVERNIGHT accommodations are available for up to 18 guest on the night of your event.

This event center helped make my ceremony perfect. The lady in charge made sure I had everything I needed and on the day of the wedding she was there to help me any way she could. I have seen a couple bad reviews about this place and they have complained about the size of the venue. Let me just tell you now, if you want a large wedding don't go here. We had between 60-70 guests and it was perfect. Another complaint is that they couldn't cook in the kitchen and when they tried fuses kept blowing. Well, in the contract and when you talk to them they will tell you it is NOT a working kitchen. It's common sense.

The Waterfront Event Center made my daughters wedding her dream come true. They listen to what you want and help you to find the vendors that will suit you. They helped me so much to pull this wedding together. I couldn't have done it without them. The service continues until the last guest leaves. Through the service and reception they checked on us and made sure we were ok. I can't say enough kind words about Lauren and her dedication to making us comfortable and making sure we had nothing to worry about but enjoying ourselves. Then there is the venue itself. It is gorgeous. We had the service on the deck as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Then we moved inside to the beautiful ballroom for dinner and dancing. There was a spacious brides room for us and a just as spacious grooms room. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around. We had the inside plus the two decks for people to move around. If you want a dream wedding with people who truly care about what you want come see Scott and Lauren. This is more than a business to them. They want your dreams to come true.

They made my special day as special as it could be!! They did everything I invisioned and more! Lauren and Scott are the sweetest people and communicate very well!! Definitely recommend for your special day!!

Every detail, even those I didn’t think of

You can not buy the view at Bayside on Offatt’s Bayou Bay in Galveston, Texas. The owners went above and beyond to ensure a care-free day. They texted special photos not captured by our photographer, it was very nice to have those on our honeymoon. Our guest enjoyed the smiles and attention from the staff. Wish we had gone with the inclusive package because in the end, we spent more than the upgraded Diamond they offered. Highly recommend.

We used the Waterfront Event Center on June 7th for our wedding reception. Our wedding and reception was spectacular down to every Last Detail. The versatility of having an indoor area as well as an outdoor open AND covered area made our evening memorable and Majestic. I highly recommend the event center for wedding receptions.

Dad's 70th birthday surprise

I held a surprise birthday for my dad's 70th. It was the perfect place to gather our family and stay the night. All
Of the rooms are very spacious and there was plenty of
Room for everyone to be comfortable. All my family loved it and enjoyed the nice views from the porch. We danced in the living room and hired a singer. The teenagers went next door to fish at the public fishing. Having been to Galveston and renting many houses and lodges,
There would have been no better place than
This. I would stay there again and again. Perfect place to host family and friends.

And I have high expectations!

Words can't even describe how thankful we are for both Lauren and Scott with Waterfront Event Center. They did everything right and made our special day one we will never forget. From the beginning, Lauren was easily accessible to answer questions, provide vendor listings to help with planning and make recommendations to ensure our wedding and reception went off without a hitch. We're so thankful for their help all the way through to our reception send-off (Scott even saved the day by providing us with a beautiful backdrop for our photo booth on the day of). Not only is the venue a stunning location for a wedding with its beautiful views of the bay and Moody Gardens, but the management really cares about each bride/groom. They make planning an event of a lifetime easy, and that's not an easy task to accomplish. The level of care was certainly felt! I'd recommend Waterfront Event Center for anyone looking for a personalized small- to medium-sized wedding (up to 125 guests). Wouldn't have changed a single thing!
