I got so many compliments on my wedding flowers all day long! They all came out beautiful and lasted so long! The guys wore Cala lilies for their boutineers, and they looked brand new and super fresh by the end of the night! Then we brought everything home and my husband's was still attached to his suit in the morning, and it still looked perfect, like it was just made. The flowers Ward's put together for my wedding really brought the wedding together. They are very helpful and willing to work with your vision AND your budget! Highly recommended.

I am extremely happy that we went with Wards! They are a local Florist in the N. Shore that have beautiful arrangements. I initially thought they were our of our budget but once I inquired they were willing to work and gave me ideas on what to save on. We worked with the wedding coordinator Kim, who was SO nice, helpful, and talented! She met with me for over an hour to discuss my vision and work with our budget and show me examples (which was so helpful). When we got the flowers they day if the wedding, the room looked amazing. The bouquets were beautiful. I was so stunned on how gorgeous they all were and they even lasted slightly over a week after which was nice! Wards was amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend them and working with Kim as she was a pleasure and made the experience very easy and enjoyable!

Ward's Florist Saved the Day. I was one of those Do It Yourself Bride. So I decided to tackle on my own flowers!! Well when the flowers i purchased from a local flower shop all died in like 3 hours I had 2 hours to find white roses!!! Ward's was open on a Sunday and Had 25 Long Stem White Roses Ready to go!! i was so relieved if not I was going to have to go to stop and shop and walk down the aisle with multi colored flowers!!! I got some daisies too and the prices are very reasonable. Thank You!!!!!

I ordered mini rose bushes for the centerpieces for my wedding and when I arrived at my venue on the day of the wedding the rose bushes were TINY. I paid $25/piece for them and the pots were about 4" diameter. If I had known how tiny they were going to be I never would have paid so much. They didn't offer to let me see them in advance. I would think that the florist, knowing how a centerpiece should look on a table, would advise me that the plants might be a bit on the small side. It was almost embarrassing how puny they were.

The bridesmaids bouquets came out beautifully. I liked my bridal bouquet except that the flowers were not very open--many of the buds were still closed. The bouquet felt like it wasn't completely "in bloom".

I did a lot of e-mailing back and forth with the florist about our arrangements, and it often took her a week or more to get back to me. At one point her e-mails became very short, as though she were kind of sick of answering my questions (I do not think it was excessive considering the amount of money I was spending with them.)

My mother had ordered centerpieces from them for my bridal shower a month before the wedding, and when she showed up the morning of the shower to pick up the flowers, none of the centerpieces had been made! They went into panic mode and managed to pull it off, but it was not a pleasant surprise.

Overall, I felt like Ward's was overpriced--the flowers were so-so and the service was lacking.

I'll start with what I liked - my bridal bouquet (hydrangea and roses) was gorgeous, along with the blue hydrangea reception centerpieces. Unfortunately, my bridesmaid's bouquets of light pink hydrangea and white roses started wilting before we even left the house. At least one of them even started coming apart - which I didn't realize until I got the pictures back! I requested (and paid extra for) a larger bouquet for my sister (my MOH) of white hydrangea and light pink roses. Unfortunately, her bouquet was the same size as my other bridesmaids, and the white hydrangea was green. Not to mention...wilty. Not only did her wilty, green bouquet clash with her blue gown, but I could tell she was disappointed in her flowers (which broke my heart!). My husband's boutonniere had a hydrangea tuft that is hanging down by the stem in most of the pictures. I just wish they told me to not put hydrangea in a boutonnieres – I wouldn’t have! Lastly - my mother's and mother-in-law's bouquets (which they called mussy tussies) were $40 and were not much bigger than the boutonnieres! My mother held it up, pinched between two fingers and asked, disappointedly, “Is this it?” It makes me very upset when I think about how much money I paid for these bouquets.

Terrible florist to go through

My kids ordered a flower through a third company “ Orvis” to be delivered for my birthday. Not only did it not arrive on the date, but the orchid was so bad with tow dead leaves and dead stem that I refused it. I called the florist who was less than professional and rude and she told me to call Orvis again. Terrible place!!
