There are not enough words in the world for us to describe how much we loved working with April and her team at Wandering Table! They catered our wedding and everything about our experience was excellent. First of all, the food is amazing. We received SO many comments from our friends/family about how much they loved the food, and multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! Second, April is an incredible communicator. Anytime we had a question, felt nervous about guest allergies, or needed to work through a kink, she was there with a calm answer and a quick solution. This was so comforting as we were going through the stressful process of planning our big wedding at a DIY venue. She was especially thoughtful and helpful with accommodating allergies and devising good substitutions - we are so grateful that everyone got to enjoy her amazing food! Seriously, run, don’t walk to work with Wandering Table -- we would work with them again in a heartbeat!

She helped us finalize details, come up with ideas to help match our vision and was willing to execute on our crazy ideas such as an ice cream bar. She was also very responsive to email when I had questions for her. Her food is SUPER delicious. The mashed potatoes she makes are some of the best things I’ve ever eaten and will forever be a highlight from our wedding. All the guests were saying how delicious the food was. You will not be disappointed with the food or the service you receive from April and her team.

We hired Wandering Table on a recommendation from our wedding planner, and they knocked it out of the park for our wedding catering! Everyone was gushing about how delicious the food was at our wedding! On top of that, April was super friendly and easy to work with, even when we were struggling to make decisions or when we didn’t respond to their emails very quickly. They went out of their way to help us nail down our menu, which we super appreciated. They were also very accommodating about dietary restrictions and made a few special plates for the guests who needed menu modifications. We know a lot of work went on behind the scenes. Set up/tear down went smoothly, the catering team and bartenders who staffed our wedding were very friendly, and they even helped prepare the late night snacks that we brought separately. Overall, we were very happy with Wandering Table and would highly recommend them if you are looking for event catering!

April, the owner of Wandering Table Catering, was a dream caterer! She walked us through her menu offerings and helped us come up with our perfect wedding menu. All of her food is excellent and she was easily able to accommodate all of our guests food intolerances. She even made a trip up to our wedding venue in the San Juan Islands (not an easy feat during COVID) for a kitchen walk through and to answer any questions about the menu/what the day would look like. Her prices are also very reasonable compared to some of the bigger catering companies in Seattle. Overall very happy with our experience with April and our food on our wedding day! I would highly recommend her.

She was great at working with our budget, and even suggested areas we could have additional savings. Basically whatever we asked, the answer was almost always 'yes'! I have used April and her crew at Wandering Table Catering for two occasions now. We had them cater not only our wedding, but also a birthday party! On both occasions we were blow away! The food is so fresh and made with so much LOVE and creativity!

For our wedding in February of 2020, she was able to create a wonderful menu that fit our needs and our guests needs. We had a few people at the wedding who were gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan. She was able to not only accommodate those guests, but the dishes also fit in perfectly for those who didn't have dietary restrictions! I had conversations with many people on our wedding night who didn't even realize some of the dishes were gluten-free/vegan. Everything was labeled and beautifully displayed and she packed up all the leftovers for us to continue to enjoy after our big day! She was professional, on-time and worked really hard for us.

April and her crew prepare the food with care and really let the ingredients do the talking; one of the major reasons we chose her was the quality of food. The salmon was cooked decadently, the braised short rib is fork tender, and the veggies are cooked to perfection. April was quick to provide feedback, and was very helpful with using services (website and quotes) to provide transparent quantities, prices, and planning tools. On the day of, the bar staff and service was fantastic, upbeat, and constantly supportive. Mid-price range, was worth paying up for in what was otherwise a budget wedding.
