My husband and I worked with Irina for our wedding, Irina and her group did a wonderful job, our backdrop was breathe taking, the photo zone and our cocktail hour decorations were amazing, the center pieces and the whole venue was beautifully designed, we received so many compliments! My bouquet was beautiful, everything I wanted and could have imagined, the flowers arrived exactly on time and they went out of their way to deliver to our house before the wedding began! Irina also went out of her way to call me a couple of days before the wedding to make sure everything was as I pleased. I am very pleased with the work, will definitely be calling VIP group for future events, I would recommend them to everyone!

Irina at VIP Design Studio did an absolutely fabulous job with our wedding and reception decor! Our jaws nearly hit the floor when we entered the room. Irina met with us several times to discuss all of the details, and she really understood our vision (which was a bit different than that of her typical clientele). She truly made our dreams a reality! We got so many compliments from our guests. It felt like a dream!

Irina did our wedding at Lamirage in October. We had multiple meetings with her where she helped us design our vision for our wedding. Everything she suggested was just beautiful. Day of, there was not one detail overlooked. Everything was perfect and beautiful and we got so many compliments on everything. I would highly suggest VIP designs to everyone! Thank you!!

Compared to the other Russian vendors she was more affordable. Compared to an American company, she was the same cost. We went with her since we were doing our reception in a Russian restaurant.

I would never work with Irina ever again. I would call her multiple times and e-mail her with no response. I would then have my now husband call her and she would immediately pick up the phone for him. We were paying her in cash and when my parents went to go drop of cash for her (we discussed this with her that they would drop off the money), she told my mom, in a very rude manner, that she would not give them a receipt. We spoke with her many times about exactly what we wanted, including the specific flowers. In the end she put in many things that I specifically mentioned that I did not want. Additionally, she put in flowers that we never spoke about and that I thought were hideous which ruined the cake since she convinced me to have fresh flowers on the cake. Our bouquets and boutonnieres died after just an hour - to the point that we just ditched them. When I look at the photos that I had sent her, and what I got in return, I do not feel that I got what I asked for. I do not feel that I was heard. She often would respond to an idea of mine saying "I see it like this...".

We were at a friends wedding earlier in the year, who she also did the decorations for. She had these plastic trees - which she tried to have at our wedding also - with flowers taped on. Sitting at a guest table, I could clearly see the tape.

Looking back at the photos is very disappointing. Thank goodness we only hired her for the reception.

I wanted to share my experience to limit surprises for future brides. Irina can produce quality work IF she so pleases. However, keep this in mind - she will work multiple weddings on the same day and her team is not prepared to handle it. I had no center piece for my place card table!!! It arrived between 9 pm and 10 pm at which point it was no longer needed. There were a couple other mishaps, lack of attention to detail I assume because she was scattered across multiple Chicago locations. I didn't let that ruin my day, BUT I did feel I had the right to address these issues afterwards and request a refund for the services I did not receive. Silly me, Irina never even responded to my requests. She takes all the $ up front and asks you to trust her, which I foolishly did.

In the beginning Irina was charming and a pleasure to work with.... once she received her $7,500 deposit she disappeared. With the pandemic our date was postponed due to state regulations, and although responsive to our initial phone call, she has since ignored all forms of communication. I have reached out via text and phone with no luck. She reads them and does not respond! Irina never ordered a single thing towards our wedding day... yet is refusing to even respond to discuss our refund. Unfortunate that this is how she is choosing to conduct business, and has prompted me to write this honest review. Do not recommend to anyone!
