I got my bridal bouquet from Villere's and could not have asked for anything better. My bouquet looked IDENTICAL to the picture I sent them as inspiration. It was also $200 cheaper than another florist in the area quoted me! They were so easy to work with.

Villere's was there for me last minute when my previous florist was unresponsive. They did exactly what I had hoped, and they were very friendly and helpful. I was referred to them by 3 different friends/relatives, and I wasn't let down! Thank you, Villere's (especially Deborah and Roger)!

I loved everything that Dawn and Carol did for my wedding. I trusted them with everything and all choices were made by them. I didn't want any extra stress, so I picked the colors and they made everything work. The price was excellent and I had so many positive comments about my florist. Thanks!!!

I had minimal flowers due to allergy but they make beautiful packed rose arrangements for the tables.

Villere's Florist did such a fantastic job with the flowers for my wedding day. I was not dealing with them directly (my grandmother was) but from what I was told, they were extremely professional and flexible. They created a small bouquet for me to use during my bridal shoot which was days before the wedding and it was beautiful. I was not a part of the flower selection and do not know what the value of the services were so I cannot provide a rating for that. But my grandmother has been in business with this company for as long as I can remember and they proved why. The flower arrangements were beautiful and all of the bouquets were well selected. They did a great job!

I didn't have a great experience with Villere's. Their wedding coordinator quit the week we went to meet with them, so they had a couple of staff people scrambling to cover. We visited them two or three times and left without a final plan--my mother in law, who lives in New Orleans, really had to step in and save the day. They delivered our two big floral pieces for the ceremony on these flimsy columns that the breeze kept knocking over, even though we'd told them a million times it was an outdoor ceremony; they also delivered the wrong color flowers for the centerpieces. Happily my bouquet was exactly what I wanted, but it was because I brought a photo from a magazine and said "Make it look exactly like this." If you live nearby and have time to spare, and have a really firm idea of what you want, Villere's has great flowers; but if you're from out of town and have a fully time job that prevents you from wedding planning 24-7, this might not be the right florist for you.

They were very helpful at first with helping us pick out all the flowers, and decide where we wanted to use them all. They became very difficult to get in touch with closer to the wedding day. The day of they didn't have the table arrangements or the throw bouquet. They definitely wrote it down for us when we were discussing it, but it somehow didn't end up on the final invoice. So, day of there was nothing they could do.

Villere's was an interesting experience for us. My mom and I went and met with the wedding coordinator there. We met for a little while, with half of the time the coordinator telling us stories about other brides and their families. She wasn't so much unprofessional as just very "New Orleans." I didn't really like the ideas she had, so I was pretty sure I was going to go with Wegmann's in Mandeville instead. However, to this day, I have still not heard back from her to give me my quote. I guess our information got lost or something, because she said she would call later that week and I still haven't heard back from her. I think they are just like a lot of prominent NOLA businesses (like Haydels, Swiss, ect.); they don't really need your business so they can be less friendly and let someone fall through the cracks.

Everything was poor not what I was looking for.
