Working with Alison was a dream! My partner and I went to her home for the tasting and had a wonderful experience. The cakes and icings were all delicious, it was hard to choose a winner! We ultimately chose a red velvet cake with house and buttercream icings. It was so good, we had none left over! She also designed the cake beautifully, just as we discussed, even adding in some of our flowers to tie it all together. I would certainly recommend Vanilla Bean Bake Shoppe for any and all of your cake needs!

Allison is so sweet, patient, and flexible! She is also so creative and made the wedding cake of our dreams and the grooms cake was impeccable! I am very picky up frosting and I told her I wanted the Sylvia Weinstock frosting and she delivered!! I have had PTSD from previous weddings with very dry and awful cake and holy moly her cake was so moist and amazing!! In fact, we have had her cake in the refrigerator for 3 months and we are still eating it and it still is so moist and tastes amazing!! This should definitely attest to the fact of how amazing Allison’s cakes are!

Allison is wonderful and brought our vision to life! We wanted a top tier cutting cake with assorted cupcakes (more options and covid friendly for our 2021 wedding). The raspberry icing is the best! We did a cake tasting at her house (where she has converted her garage into a commercial grade kitchen). There are so many options for flavors. She even gives you a complimentary cake for your 1 year anniversary (which we got ours today!)

Vanilla Bean Bake Shoppe impressed us with the quality and taste of the cakes, filling, and icing. We both gravitate towards fresh flavors over super sweet ingredients and this baker delivered! She was able to capture our design ideas and create a beautiful cake with very reasonable pricing! The surprise groom's cake (a 3D penguin!) was also beautiful and delicious, a great quirky addition that was secretly designed by the bakery and bride. We look forward to enjoying her other baked goods! Highly recommend this bakery, book with her asap as we see her business really growing in the future!

We used Allison with Vanilla Bean for our wedding cake. The whole experience was such a breeze. The cake tasting was fun and our wedding cake was so yummy! So many of our guests complimented the cake. Highly recommend her for any event!

Vanilla Bean Bake Shoppe makes the best cakes! We used them for our wedding cake and it was such a good experience. She works out of her home, which I love. For our tasting, we got to her home a little early and she invited us in and said "you guys can have a seat while I finish making your icing." We were so impressed! She was making our icing right then! Not something left over or anything like that. It was all fresh! So of course we booked her and she delivered our cake to our venue on our wedding day and it was gorgeous. We made the inside of our cake blue which we thought would be difficult, but she welcomed it and it wasn't a problem at all! Allison (the owner) is very very sweet and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone!
