I had Vani do my hair at my wedding on 7/14/21 and have absolutely no regrets. She possesses all the qualities you are looking for in the person you are having do your makeup at your wedding.

I’ll start with the thing that I love most about her which is the fact that she LISTENS; if you are after a certain look and there are small details that are personally important to you (for example- exactly how curly you want a certain chunk of hair; the placement of your bangs and the way it frames your face; or even how much of your ears you want showing lol), not only will she respect your wishes and not judge, but, during your trial with her, she will keep redoing the style for you until she nails it and you are completely satisfied (though it won’t take her too many tries because she is extremely receptive and picks up what you’re looking for, fast). It is so apparent she is a true artist and has an eye and passion for detail. Sure, there are many makeup/hair artists out there who will ask you what you are looking for and seem like they’re listening, but often times their results still end up coming out cookie-cutter and not personal, making the bride look like all their other clients. Vani on the other hand will really take the time to evaluate your hair/ skin type and features, and make you look how YOU want to look. I believe this comes from the genuine passion she has for her craft.

Second, she is completely professional. With all the stress you’re already dealing with from just wedding planning, you will definitely appreciate how timely and responsive Vani is with her emails. She has excellent communication and will always keep you updated with the next thing and never leave you in the dark or waiting long. Also, there were no issues in her punctuality- she was on time to both my trial and the wedding. She did all of my bridesmaids’ makeup in a timely manner, all the while still being as respectful and receptive to their wishes as I had described her in the previous paragraph. There were no issues with payment, either.

Last, she is totally chill and open and fun to talk to. This is very important! Her kindness and her cool, laid back personality really helped to make for a wonderful and positive experience. I am on the quieter and shy side but she made me feel calm and comfortable and I had such a great time working with her and getting to know her during my trial as well as at my wedding. I’d totally hang out with her again lol.

All in all I loved having Vani and would highly recommend her to other brides to be. She is a great listener, respectful, professional and kind. She went above and beyond for me and I appreciate her more than I can express. 💕

Vani made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day! I found her serendipitously and not only is she the sweetest, she's an incredible listener and so talented at perfecting your look with hair and makeup. Vani was the perfect person for my wedding day. She made me feel heard and beautiful. I wanted something more natural and she was able to perfectly recreate the look I wanted. She was always in communication with me and made the ladies in my party feel heard and beautiful too! Everyone in my party was happy with their looks. The makeup stayed all afternoon and night, all day in some cases. Vani was very professional and worked very well within the time limits of the wedding day. She was super personable and extremely friendly. Hire her !

Vani is really experienced when it comes to wedding makeup. She was excellent to work with — super responsive, collaborative, and all around very fun to work with! Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a more glam look too :)

My wedding was last December and Vani did an AMAZING job. Through rain and happy tears my makeup stayed intact through the 15 hour day. My stress blemishes were completely invisible too! She even helped a bridesmaid at the last minute. So professional and kind, easy to talk to and made me feel totally at ease about my stress acne. Vani also went above and beyond by coming out in the rain and fixing my hair! I’ve never felt more beautiful and it was all thanks to her.

In the day photos the makeup had been on for about two hours and in the night photo my makeup had been on for about nine hours!

Vani is a talented makeup and Hair stylist. She delivered exactly what I asked for and I received tons of compliments on my hair and makeup - I felt like a star! Vani is also very communicative and organized. She is also very sweet and easy to be around. I appreciated all her attention to detail and delivering a beautiful finished look for my wedding!

Vani is a very sweet makeup artist with class she made my experience phenomenal and unforgettable! I completely loved the look and felt that i received what I asked for usually when I show make up artist a desired look they come close but Vani took her time to understand the desired look I was aiming for and overall boosted my self confidence !
