Valerie and her assistant Kristin did an amazing job photographing my wedding! My husband and I are thrilled with how all the photos turned out; they truly captured the love and spirit of our whole day. They worked so hard throughout the day, and seemed to be everywhere at once! We loved that they photographed so many candid moments and details -- many things we just didn't even have the time to take in on the actual day, so we're very grateful that we can relive our wedding through their beautiful photos. 



Valerie also did our engagement session and we are so happy with how all those pictures turned out as well. Her passion and pride for her work are undeniable, as is her energetic personality. She really took the time to scout each location thoroughly to make sure she found the most scenic backdrops for each photo. Valerie has such a creative eye and vision, and brought so many great ideas to the table, while also listening to our ideas. She also gave us excellent direction while taking the photos.



Valerie was also really good about corresponding with me leading up to the big day, offering many helpful tips -- and even recommended a great folk band that we ended up hiring.

I don’t like Vendors and I don’t like being pitched. That’s why it why the entire wedding planning process was difficult for me: endless Vendors and endless pitching. I dreaded the day we had to meet with Photographers… and then we me Valerie.

She had two strikes against her when she arrived for our appointment: she was genuinely bubbly and had tons of ideas. Little did I know that those two traits that I viewed as negative would be the difference between hiring some schmuck to snap pictures of our wedding and hiring Val – an overly competent, clear headed, focused artist.
Looking in the rear view mirror I can’t imagine having anyone else shoot our wedding. Val was organized, humorous, aggressive when she needed to be, flattering when she had to be, and always looking for the next shot that would be “the shot” that would capture our day. She was masterful, she was attentive, she worked as hard as I’ve ever seen someone work. The final product was an array of pictures I could never have imagined. The wedding day would have been a foggy memory had it not been for Val capturing our emotions, the love from our guests, and the spirit of the day.

I don’t like Vendors but we fell in love with Val. No matter if you think you’ve got the photographer lined up for your wedding, you owe it to yourself to hire Val instead. Absolutely brilliant…
