Utopian Events was one of the first vendors we hired in our early stages of planning! Decorators truly set the tone for the wedding festivities and the reason we were able to decide on Shushil and Team so quickly was because of their experience in the industry and their creativeness. We loved Shushil & Team from the first meeting; Shushil is detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and dedicated to the Bride’s vision! I do not think I can give justice to how quickly and adeptly Shushil’s mind can work to support/enhance your ideas or help you when you need inspiration. I am a perfectionist and I don’t think I could have asked for anything more for any of my events. Each time my husband and I walked into an event, we were WOW-ed, like our jaws dropped and I teared up of course! Shushil was with us every step of the way to make the process easier, from site visits to the morning of. One thing in my planning that I never had to worry about was our decorations or florals! Our friends and family have repeatedly commented that they have never seen decorations and florals so beautifully done! The only bad part of the experience was it ending, but after two years with Shushil - we consider him family and are eagerly awaiting our cousins/siblings to get married so we have the chance to work with him and Utopian Events again!

We worked with Utopian events for the past 2 years, due to COVID our wedding was pushed back, it was a long road to get to our wedding, but it was worth it! Angelica and her team did an amazing job making our vision come true while adding her own thoughts and creativity to the decorations. Kinjal was amazing day of making sure everything was perfect and Shushil was great with communicating with my parents and making sure everything was done correctly as well. Beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, amazing… I simply do not have enough adjectives to describe the decorations created by Utopian Events for our wedding! Utopian helped to design multiple events for our wedding and each time I walked into the room before the event, I was literally stunned by the beauty of the room. However, what is truly amazing is that each successive event was even better than the last. Our mehendi was whimsical, elegant, and colorful. The ceremony was cool, sleek, but at the same time so ornate. And finally, our reception literally left me speechless with as it struck the perfect balance between being sparkly, but also so incredibly sophisticated! I don’t know how to even thank Shushil, Angelica, and the entire team at Utopian Events – they took my incredibly vague ideas and transformed them into something any bride would LOVE to have at her wedding!
If you are considering hiring Utopian Events for your wedding – here are a few details about my experience that may help you along your way. First off, I am a bride that lives in the North East, but decided to have the wedding in Atlanta. As a result, I had to meet with many of my vendors during my few and far between whirlwind weekend trips to Atlanta or work with my vendors remotely. During one of my trips to Atlanta before the wedding, we met with a number of different decorators and I have to say, there is absolutely no competition between what Shushil offers and other decorators in Atlanta.
I would recommend Utopian to anyone and everyone – they are truly wonderful, responsive, the price is more than reasonable, and the quality of work outshines all competitors!

Shushil's team did an AMAZING job with all of our events in Hilton Head - everything looked GORGEOUS!!!! :o) I was a little atypical as a bride in the sense I didn't really care all that much about the details of the decorations, I just wanted everything to look nice, modern and not tacky - and Shushil's team at Utopian Events DEFINITELY delivered!!! :o) I LOVED everything! :o) From the flower elephants (my absolute favorite) to the draped, elegant mandap to the BEAUTIFUL stage he put together for us - seriously, everything looked BEAUTIFUL!!! :o) Plus, Shushil is very professional, responsive, and easy to work with :o) Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! :o)

Where do I begin? Shushil and his entire team at Utopian Events were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding. Not only does Shushil have an incredible creative vision, but also a sincere passion for what he does that helped make my wedding dream a reality. We were initially nervous about planning our wedding in Atlanta all the way from our home in New York, but Shushil’s ability to work with us to arrange every detail of our décor remotely via phone calls, web conferences and countless emails was remarkable. He and his team truly can bring a picture to life – the mandap design, the incredible colors, the centerpieces, the floral arrangements, and so much more – and we can’t thank them enough for their flawless execution, especially given some unusually tight time constraints.
All Shushil needed from us was some vague Pinterest-inspired ideas and suggestions, a few “must-haves” and an approximate budget. He took it from there – he immediately understood what we wanted and used his experience and creativity to work with us build upon that vision and create a picture-perfect wedding. He often drew inspiration from seemingly insignificant elements, coming up with great ideas we could never have come up with on our own. We were so pleasantly surprised to see how much he cared about his product, and were shocked by the level of energy, thought and consideration he put into our wedding, treating it as if it were no different from his own. In the final stressful weeks leading up to the wedding, Shushil had us completely at ease, and we knew that we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about. He was up literally all night setting up for our early morning wedding ceremony…and while he was running around making sure everything was all set, he still found time to stop and not only bring me breakfast, but feed it to me personally. Who is this guy and where did he come from???

WOW! We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day absolutely amazing. From the time we walked into the room, we could not believe our eyes. Everything was perfect and just as we had envisioned it, down to the details. The consistent and regular planning meetings before the wedding to capture the smallest of the requirements and the ability to go the extra mile to accommodate our requests was very appreciated. From the mandap, to the aisle way, florals and estate tables, just spectacular. I would like to say that you out did yourself by conceptualizing, designing and delivering the best mandap ever. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the décor was. Many said it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to.

Working with Utopian Events was a fantastic experience and it was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. When I meet with Shushil, he was very professional and personable. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my wedding decor, but Shushil was able to bring that vision to light. He was also more than willing to work within my budget. The communication was great as he promptly responded to every phone call and email during the planning process. The ceremony and reception were decorated beautifully and I couldn't have been happier with the all of the arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets, and linens. Shushil was also kind enough to work with my venue when there were a ton of last minute changes to my outdoors ceremony due to the weather. Not only did Utopian Events meet my expectations but they far exceeded them and I would highly them for anyone planning their wedding (or any event for that matter).
