Hannah did my makeup for my wedding in 2020, she was very professional, easy to work with, and made sure everyone was happy! Our makeup lasted throughout the night, I couldn’t ask for anyone better!

I’ll give credit where it is due. My skin makeup was beautiful and she covered my rosacea wonderfully. My hair really stood out too. But when it came to my eyes and eyebrows, I cried after she left on my wedding day. When she first did my eyebrows, they just looked wild. So I had her redo them. Second time they were too dark and had the feather like effect. So I showed her a picture of how I do my eyebrows everyday. She still couldn’t get it, so I told her I’d just do my own eyebrows. Very frustrating. After the three failed attempts, there was this black smudge all around my eyebrows from her redoing them several times. I asked her to clean it up, and it looked like she did nothing so I decided I’d just clean it up on mg own. I had to take off my beautifully applied foundation to get rid of the smudge and apply my concealer and foundation then powder which didn’t even match what she put on, but at least there wasn’t any black smudge. Now, my eyeliner. I understand that they don’t “ specialize” in winged eyeliner, but eyeliner is very common request and definitely something they should have mastered after so many years of experience they claim to have. It was a total nightmare. I showed her a picture of my everyday eyeliner, and she just made it worse. So at this point I tell her thanks, and then I just fixed it after she left. Once she left I was in literal tears. I don’t understand how you can leave a bride like that and mess up so many times. I sent an email about my experience and she did not acknowledge the black smudge all over my eyebrow area or the failed eyebrows. She just told me thy don’t specialize in winged eyeliner, and she gave us plenty of time to fix any mistakes. By why would I let someone “fix” other mistakes when she continues to make them worse?? That literally makes no sense? I’m disheartened and disappointed. I spent 350$ for this. I’d like a partial refund for my makeup portion. At the end of the day I still felt beautiful AFTER I FIXED MY OWN MAKEUP. I am attaching photos. The tops are how I was left; and the bottom is my best attempt to fix it. Salon owner will respond and say that she gave time to fix it, but after 5 mistakes and failed attempts to fix it, why the heck would I keep giving her an opportunity to fix it?? I’ve requested a refund for just makeup and she refuses!!
