The room's retractable ceilings and walls, which are made of glass, enable couples to celebrate their union indoors or outdoors, regardless of the season. Moreover, to add comfort and intimacy during winter months, the floors of the event space can be heated. The main portion of the upstairs space is situated to grant guests with remarkable views of the well-known Chrysler building. This beautiful area, adorned with string lights and wooden floors, can host up to 200 individuals. The elevated venue also features a private media lounge, which can accommodate up to 40 guests. Ideal for more intimate affairs, this lofty parlor features a private bar, vast windows, and high-quality audio and visual equipment.

Upstairs at the Kimberly is a wonderful place to hold a cocktail style reception. It has sweeping views of the Chrysler Building, Midtown Manhattan and creates wonderful ambiance. I recently had my destination wedding on the rooftop here with 20 guests in total. It is a stunning venue that needs little to no added decoration. The fairy lights, chesterfield lounges and city skyline as a backdrop created the perfect mix of classic and modern. The event planner was extremely helpful and took care of all the small details. The Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel is a perfect venue for both ceremony and cocktails! We had a very small wedding (15 adults/4 children) at the Upstairs on a Saturday evening in January. The wedding ceremony was held in the VIP Room; which is very private. Following the ceremony we had a light cocktail hour consisting of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in the actual bar area. Besides being a beautiful space on the 31st floor of the Kimberly Hotel overlooking the Chrysler Building, the event coordinator was extremely professional and helpful, the wait staff very friendly, the Mediterranean bar delicious, and the drinks good.
