Upper Barn is located in the Appalachian Mountains of Boone, North Carolina. We make, rent and sell barn-wood and reclaimed tables, benches, pews, chairs, and the like. Most of our wood comes from 100 year old barns used by homesteads, farms, and even some tobacco farms at the turn of the century. One of the unique features about our barns are the long thick beams that span the length of the structures. Now, long past their useful life in barns, they are carefully taken down, re-purposed, and milled into thick boards of varying widths to be recreated into works of art by talented craftsman. All our tables are one of a kind as they show off the history of our barns with nail holes, knots and saw marks. We look forward to not only supplying you with beautiful wedding rentals, but also providing furniture that is rich in color, texture, and history.
