UpFront Band is a versatile musical group and soloists that has provided live music for many special events throughout Oregon and Washington. They were featured on the KINK.FM local music spotlight radio show. Their musical focus is on Jazz (smooth, standards, swing), Latin, and their own twist on classic rock-n-roll, oldies, pop songs and will tailor a performance to your needs at reasonable rates.
Chris Bidleman (piano) and Steve Burpee (sax) the founders of The UpFront have been playing music together since Jr High. In 2002 they formed the Vancouver, WA based band "UpFront". They are joined by Robert Schultz on drums and Ed Couture on bass plus additional musicians and singers as needed to make you wedding day even more special. We can provide music for the ceremony (solo or duo), cocktail hour (duo or trio) and reception (3 - 5 piece band). We also have arrangements with DJ's to offer a package deal if you want DJ music when the band takes breaks.
