No advice to give. Tyler is perfect!

New to seattle my husband and I chose to elope on Star Wars Day! Being new to the city and not much time to plan, Tyler was beyond helpful and creative! We of course had our pups involved he was great with them! He is so fun to work with and the pictures were beautiful!! He is a pleasure to work with!!

I don't like tradition as a reason for anything, but I'm especially skeptical when it comes to wedding traditions. Most wedding photographers seem most interested in all the things that I am least interested in when it comes to weddings (and, indeed, sometimes find repugnant). It took me a long time to start looking for a photographer for my wedding, because I had never seen a wedding picture that could make me honestly say, "I really like that."

Now I have an entire huge album of them, and it's all thanks to Tyler.

He's not just a first-rate photographer, either. Tyler was very easy to work with, with a relaxed charisma that seemed to make absolutely everything photography-related several orders of magnitude less difficult. During the wedding, it never felt like he was an outsider looking in. He took the time to chat with a lot of guests, which seemed to make them a little more natural when he pulled out his camera. Many of the pictures manage to feel both unstudied and, at the same time, polished. That isn't an easy feat to pull off (ask any politician).

From our first meeting with Tyler we knew we had our guy. He listened to what we wanted and then helped us think through what we needed. We had a family member who insisted on taking photos of our wedding (and I would recommend to everyone reading this right now that you discourage your family members from doing this) and Tyler was very gracious and flexible in working around this. In general, once we started looking at photographer prices we were shocked to see how high they were for the artistic/stylish photos we wanted to commemorate our big day - which is why we were absolutely ecstatic to see that Tyler takes wonderful photos at a much more reasonable price. Seriously, take a look around and you will see that Tyler's photos are just as good (if not better) than the photographer outfits that are charging 1,000 to 2,000 more. OH! And Tyler had our photos back to us in less than a week.

Tyler was fantastic! He photographed our wedding which was held late August, in Index, Washington. We wanted our photos to capture the environment and emotions of our wedding and focus less on posed portrait, style photos. Although we hoped for sun, it rained, and Tyler captured the beauty and details of the surroundings with expertise and creativity. Tyler was friendly, professional, and accommodating from start to finish. We would highly recommend Tyler to others!

Tyler is a flexible, fun and professional photographer. We are so happy with our engagment photos and our wedding photos are absolutely beautiful!! He captured some of the most beautiful shoots I have ever seen. Tyler did an amazing job capturing every moment of our wedding. He has a great eye for detail and is a very talented photographer. We are extremely happy we choose tyler to be our photographer! We highly recommend him.

My husband and I had less than two weeks to plan our wedding as we found out he was deploying earlier than expected. I found Tyler Ray online and enjoyed his portfolio. He was very quick to reply and very flexible even though we didn't give him much notice. The day of the wedding was perfect and he was so wonderful. He took amazing photographs and I am so glad that we chose him to be our photographer. He has very reasonable prices, a great eye and a very creative point of view.
