Experience Tyrenda Pentecost, owner of Ty Pentecost Photography, became a part of the San Francisco Bay Area wedding industry in 2014. She first picked up a camera to capture her son’s football games, and she instantly fell in love with photography. Since then, she’s won WeddingWire’s Couples Choice Award for 2017 and 2018.

Simply put, Ty is a dream to work with, especially in a year as crazy as this one! We did our engagement photos with her a few months ago and my fiance keeps talking about how much fun he had. Ty put us both at ease, even through a last minute location change due to some extreme fog, and the results were breathtaking - she captured the sweetest moments, all with the beautiful, dreamy colors of northern California that we love. Importantly, Ty was extremely skilled at photographing our opposite skin tones and making sure that we both looked great! I cannot wait until we have her at our (hopefully soon) wedding

The best wedding photographer ever!
Ty came to us as a referral from our planner. She ended up being one of the best things about our big day. She was wildly organized and commutative prior to the event and day-of she kept things running like a well oiled machine. Not only was she professional and on top of it, she made things move along quickly and so FUN! When my husband and I were whisked away for sunset photos I had so much fun! I thought I’d be ready to hurry through it but we laughed and got a nice little break shooting in the vineyards with Ty. I am so grateful for her help and will be referring all my friends to her in the future. It doesn’t get any better when you hire this fun, professional, creative and dedicated lady!!

Tyrenda is someone that wins your heart from the first time you speak with her. When I started looking into different photographers for my wedding, a couple took a few days to reply, a couple just sent a generic email, and Ty was the only one who wanted to set up a call right away to get to know us and what we are looking for. During the call her enthusiasm and personality won me over. Then we met her for the first time during our engagement photoshoot – and I cannot explain how amazing it was. My (now) husband and I were definitely very camera shy when she first got there, but within minutes she had us laughing and flirting with each other for the camera. She breaks down any walls of insecurity and the poses she has look so natural. She took the vision we had and took it to new heights. We loved her work so much we ended up signing her on for another event before our wedding! She is someone we hope to keep in our lives as not only our go to photographer but also as a friend ☺

Ty and her team were total rockstars during my wedding. She had a clear understanding of what my vision was and she went above and beyond to deliver. There are always little (or big) things that go wrong during a wedding; for example, in all the chaos and commotion before walking down the aisle, I forgot my veil! I was so heartbroken about it. But Ty and her team made sure that we got extra portraits with the veil which made me feel a lot better - and they turned out to be some of my favorite shots. Also, after the ceremony ended, we were taking portraits and I was stressed out that we were falling behind on the timeline so I asked her if we could skip a few shots and go to the reception. She stopped and told me "Nobody is going to mind if the reception starts 15 minutes late. But these pictures are once in a lifetime." She was so, so right. I can't thank her enough; not only for the gorgeous pictures, but for her wisdom and guidance on such an important day.

I might sound like a crazy person but i'm just going to say it.... The thing i miss most about my wedding being over is not working with Ty anymore (tbqh all my vendors were the best). So far I have only seen my sneak peaks but 1) my photos have made strangers cry because they are so beautiful and 2) I have made a beautiful and wonderful friend. I had Ty with me for the longest time and by the end of the night she and her team felt like family. I have never felt more beautiful, happy, and comfortable behind the camera. Not only I can rave about how great she was but so can all of my guests (and my husband, he's obsessed). I can't tell you how amazing Ty is. It took one phone conversation to know she was the one and I will be forever grateful. We love you Ty!

Ty and her team are the BEST! During my wedding, I kept getting compliments from my wedding party and guests about her that they really liked my photographer. She has the best vibe and is super friendly. Her photography skills are AMAZING! She is really good and you get more than what you pay for. She was able to add a couple extra hours to my photoshoot at the very last minute, which was a lifesaver. Honestly, it would be a mistake NOT to choose her!

Ty was fantastic. Don't even bother looking at anyone else because she is absolutely the best. Not only did she cater to my very specific requests, but also she was professional, calming (which we need on our wedding day) and truly passionate about her photography. She captured the essence of my husband and my relationship and our love for each other. Further, her notes about us on her blog truly made me emotional :) She took the time to get to know us and our story and turned our wedding into a work of art. Yes, I am dramatic- but it is all true. She is the best.

Ty is new but she has a vision. She photographed my wedding and I just received the pictures back and they are nothing but amazing. I am so thrilled that I contacted with her to make a memory of our wedding day. The wedding day flies by so quick and when you get these photos back it brings you right back.
