Heather was amazing to work with. She was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. She helped in every step of the ceremony. She crafted a ceremony that far exceeded any of my or my wife's expectations and created a wonderful unity ceremony that was a fantastic addition. Would highly recommend Heather to anyone!

We cannot say enough good things about Heather and the wedding ceremony she created for us. All night long we were getting compliments on how much everybody loved the ceremony. Her professionalism, creativity, and public speaking abilities are unparalleled. The whole process starts with a quick meeting with Heather to determine the right plan for you, then after booking her, you're done until a couple months before the wedding. Approximately 2 months prior to the wedding, you and your partner have to fill out a couple questionnaires. They can be a little lengthy but I truly believe Heather reads every response. She took some of the most minor of details and worked them into our ceremony. If you put in quality effort to the questionnaires, you will get back a quality ceremony. A couple weeks before the ceremony you'll get a draft to review and you can make edits depending on the plan you select. On the day of, Heather helped us signed the marriage license and she even mailed it in for us. That was such a relief not to have to deal with and we could focus on moving into pictures. Lastly, Truly Yours' pricing is very reasonable. We highly suggest spending the money for a professional celebrant, it keeps the stress off your friends and family and you don't have anybody getting choked up during the ceremony impeding the progress of the night.

Heather does an amazing job writing her ceremonies. She makes them so personal to the couple and makes sure that you are involved in the entire process. Once I saw her bio, seeing that she was nerdy, just like me and my now husband, we knew she was going to be the one marrying us. She included all the nerdy elements we really wanted in our ceremony and really made it personalized to us. After the ceremony, all of our guests couldn't get over how unique our ceremony was because they hadn't heard anything like it before. From the very first meeting we loved how professional Heather was, and how attentive she was to our love story and what we were looking for in the ceremony. It's hard trying to figure out specifics of a wedding from start (ceremony) to finish (reception). There is so much to consider especially with the actual ceremony. When I came across Heather at Truly yours ceremonies, it was like a small gift from the gods. She walked us through everything we could consider and made our decision making easier. My husband and I believe in god but do not go to a church or have any religious affiliation. Heather created a simple yet beautiful ceremony that was just religious enough and sentimental enough where me and my husband did not feel too exposed. We are both private people, and he doesn't like being the center of attention so the wedding itself was going to be something to get through. Heather created a wonderful ceremony that tied in well with the dedication to my mother who passed away six years ago. To the ceremony and wonderful words Heather said on our behalf, we lighted a candle and had a moment of silence in my mothers honor. There were tears, smiles and little laughs to have everyone entertained and enjoy our moment with us.
On the day of my wedding it started as a beautiful sunny day. Just before the ceremony would begin it started thundering, lightning and raining so hard that a double rainbow appeared. I freaked out for the first official time ! But once the ceremony was moved inside and started I was allowed to forget about the weather and how my plan for an outdoor ceremony would not come true, because I was then caught up I'm the main reason and moment I was there- to become a wife ! Heather had the ability to make me forget the things that didnt matter and change focus to what mattered most on that day, just through her words.
My husband and I were married September 8th, 2019 and Heather Anderson at Truly yours ceremonies was our celebrant and we enjoyed her work.

Heather was great to work with. She was personable, wrote out our story so well and delivered her speech flawlessly. We even had some interruptions from outside sources during the ceremony which she handled so well. She did a have fasting ritual which turned out great. I would not hesitate to recommend her!!
