Celebrant certification includes extensive studies of ceremony writing, rituals, and knowledge and skills to assist couples of all backgrounds prepare for their wedding. She offers all couples a no-cost, initial consultation so they can learn more about her services and determine how best she might prepare a ceremony that reflects their individual needs.

As a Life-Cycle Celebrant® , Dr. Barbara of Truly Honored Ceremonies knows how to work with couples of different religious backgrounds as well as those couples who are interfaith or non-religious. She has experience with specific religious affiliations such as Buddhist, Episcopalian, Baptist,Taoist, as well as spiritual, non-denominational ceremonies. Every couple will receive a personalized service. Dr. Barbara will incorporate your beliefs and love story into the ceremony so that it is authentically yours. We love Dr. Barbara!!
She was easy to work with throughout the process and was helpful in reminding us on some logistical things around the wedding license and application, etc.
On the day of, she was so warm, made us feel so welcome and loved. She took her time during the ceremony, and even had a microphone underneath her mask that was hooked up to a little amp, which was super helpful because we were on the beach (fairly noisy with wind, ocean, etc.). She is such a sweet person, and her warm, kind, loving energy helped make our day that much more special.
We highly recommend booking Dr. Barbara for your special day. We are so happy we did!
