Trevor was a joy to work with and we absolutely love how our wedding photos turned out. He listened to what specific photos we wanted and was very accommodating to what we requested.

This is an update to a previous review which I wrote prior to our wedding day, which has since happened on July 23rd, 2021. First of all I want to say THANK YOU to Trevor and his team at Act One Photos for photographing our wedding and being apart of our big day!!
We hired Trevor for our engagement photos and we had a the most positive and fun engagement shoot. Then, not kidding we literally FELL out of our chairs when we saw how amazing he made us look in our engagement photos!! OMG epic!!! I have since used our gorgeous engagement photographs for our save the dates, wedding website. and as decor hanging in our house!
On our wedding day (7/23/21), Trevor and his team (+second shooter, assistant) were organized, efficient, and attentive to detail. They took beautiful pictures of the wedding party in the most ridiculous wind ever and remained cool, calm and collected. Then during the wedding event, something I so appreciated was how incognito the team was, I didn't even see any photographers for any of the ceremony, or really for any big moment in the night (which lets be honest is an amazing thing because I was completely in the moment and not worried about cameras taking pictures of me). After the ceremony, we didn't hesitate for even a second when Trevor pulled us outside to take bride/groom photos during cocktail hour. Because Trevor had come to do a venue walkthrough 6 weeks prior to our wedding date, we knew he had already scoped out the best photo settings around the venue and that the pictures were going to be quick, painless, and then we could get back to partying with our guests. During these photo ops, he definitely made us get into the bushes a bit (which he sometimes does) but don't worry, it is always worth it for the final photos, haha! :P
In all seriousness though, it was such a pleasure working with Trevor/Act One Photos for our wedding photography.
If you want incredible photography and excellent service for a price that is more than reasonable, go with Act One Photos!! We are so glad we did!

Trevor is extremely professional and extremely talented. He photographed my sisters wedding, and I KNEW we had to have him photograph ours, as well. The entire experience from start to finish was a BREEZE! He also does an amazing reveal of your wedding photos on his 4K TV, and provided us with our favorite kind of champagne (so thoughtful!). You won’t be disappointed with Trevor’s beautiful work!

Act One Photos was provided to us through our all inclusive venue. Trevor was in contact with us from day one getting to know us and what would make our memories live forever. We had to reschedule our wedding, he stayed in communication with us until our day could finally happen. Trevor's creativity with photo ops created some of our favorite moments. The candid shots displayed the emotion of our guests beautifully. His photo reveal continued to exceed our expectations, the quality and options for our pictures were mind blowing. We can not wait to work with Act One Photos again!!!

Trevor was incredible to work with and his work product was of outstanding quality! He was extremely detail-oriented in the planning and execution and it really helped all the photography to flow seamlessly throughout the evening without me having to worry about a thing! He asked all the detailed questions about what specific shots we wanted, any family member nuances, and somehow managed to get it all and then some! I highly recommend Trevor if you're looking for a friendly, organized and high quality wedding photographer!

Of course, we would pick to get married in the middle of a pandemic! Trevor changed dates with us. He accommodated all the changes without blinking an eye. Trevors photos are SO GOOD, we already referred him to our family members' wedding next year. During our wedding I kept getting approached by people raving about him! We love Trevor!

Trevor went above and beyond to make sure all of our requested photos were beautiful and exactly what we wanted! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous photographer!
