Driven by a deep-seated love and fascination with music, my life with the cello has led me to embrace it's rich classical tradition, while venturing forth into a wider musical world of the non-traditional for this great instrument. Let me play some Bach cello suites, a couple of jazz tunes and improvisations, let me rock out on the electric cello and create or discover something new every day, and I'll be happy.

I love performing solo, because the big, warm sound of the cello, which ranges from deep and rich to high and singing, makes it such a great solo instrument, and I also often collaborate with other talented professional musicians in a variety of instrumentations like:

violin and cello
string trio or quartet
jazz/Latin guitar and cello
jazz trio or quartet

As a classically trained composer with experience also in the realms of jazz, rock, and pop music, I have an uncommon ability to take almost any song or piece of music and adapt it to the cello alone or in combination with a wide variety of other instruments.
