As a professional wedding photographer, I knew from the start that I needed a creative planning team could plan a wedding long distance (we got married in Montana, but live in Chicago), who would also run our wedding weekend with a firm hand. From the beginning, I told GariAnn that I wanted to "just be a bride" day of, and that I didn't want to have to spend any time on my wedding day thinking about the timeline or communicating with vendors or clocking in as a wedding vendor myself. GariAnn went above and beyond on our wedding weekend to manage our vendor team, to run the day like the absolute pro she is, and to problem solve (everything from minor annoyances to florists who wouldn't deliver personals early to normal wedding day things like catering and rogue family members), all with a smile. Her team was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day, and her personality is perfect for things like rehearsing our wedding ceremony and making sure everyone is where they need to be.

In the nearly 2 years of wedding planning, GariAnn road the rollercoaster that is planning a long distance wedding by our side. From picking venues (in states neither of us lived in), to vetting vendors, to researching marijuana laws, to helping us customize our wedding day (and work with our budget), GariAnn wore many hats. While there was a bit of turnover in her office during our time, which can be typical in the wedding industry, we never lost touch with GariAnn or felt that our wedding was anything less than her top priorty. GariAnn is a godsend. I am a super shy and anxious person and she made me feel at ease with the whole wedding process. I could have not done it without her and her team. Her personality is so easy going, she just wants to make everything easier for the bride. She dealt with what was probably the worst venue ever, (srry GariAnn!) and made our wedding day absolutely beautiful. I kid you not she had to deal with a crazy events manager and made it all happen. We also had to change our entire wedding plan to indoors, 24 hours before due to wind, and I trusted her to handle it all and she crushed it, while I partied with friends the day before.
