The Timber Center is a large open banquet hall in Maquoketa, Iowa. Family-owned and operated since 2017, the team knows how important it is to include each loved one in your wedding celebrations. The Timber Center is very family-friendly, with a fenced-in space out back for recreation and kids to run around. It is also conveniently attached to Timber Lanes, a lovely bowling center for after-party fun.

We have a beautiful full-service bar and accommodations for up to 500 guests. The Timber Center also has an outdoor pavilion and patio for an indoor and outdoor easy-going feel. We can also host your ceremony for an all-in-one experience. Indoors, you'll find a beautifully appointed hall complete with ceiling fairy lights, a round-table dining setting, and glossy floors that call for a dance. Entertainment and décor are entirely up to you; we will help you make the most of your special day here!

Services Offered

When booking The Timber Center, you get Friday all day for setup, which can be used as a rehearsal dinner when you choose our in-house catering. Rental also includes experienced bartenders, tables, chairs, and clean up. We work with you the whole way on unique floor plans and the best vendors. We have flexible and customized open bar options to fit any budget. The large stage is the perfect way to ensure guests can see your beautiful faces. Catering can be customized to enhance your culinary experience, and should you need a nibble or two later, the culinary team can arrange plated and late-night food.
