The RiverCenter is a modern and beautiful wedding venue in Davenport, Iowa. It is located near the banks of the Mississippi River and offers versatile and spacious banqueting facilities. The venue’s celebration spaces can be tailored to your needs, offering customization options for every aspect of your big day.

Facilities and Capacity

The RiverCentre offers ceremony and reception rooms for 50 - 500 guests. The Mississippi Hall is the venue’s large event space, while its upper and lower concourses are available for more intimate affairs. The venue provides tables, chairs, chair covers, and linens for bespoke setups to fit your vision. The RiverCentre boasts entertainment facilities, with sound systems, a stage, and a dance floor for you and your guests to dance the night away. The venue has ample parking and is connected to two hotels - Hotel Blackhawk and The Double Tree - perfect for guests traveling from out of town. Getting ready rooms and overnight accommodation are provided for the happy couple.

Wedding Reception

We had our wedding reception here and I am so pleased and highly recommend! Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with, she was always quick to respond, helpful, and always made sure we were in constant communication. The space was wonderful; the food was amazing and overall, the experience was one that I will never forget, and the River Center is directly to thank for the amazing experience!

Best venue ever !!

I do a lot of events and this has to be my favorite event space so far. The room is spacious for some of us who loves huge events. they have big changing rooms or and they through in a few mirrors for my bridal party. The staff was extremely professional and fun to work with! If I asked for something, I didn't go even 24hours without hearing back so communication was wonderful! Jennifer worked with me and tried to accommodate to as much as she could. every thing was 10/10 and I would use the space again if I had to do it all over.

the only downfall to the space is that it is missing lights. I had to use a lot of white in my decoration in hopes to improve lighting in the room for good photos and videos.

Amhof Wedding Reception

We had our wedding reception at the River Center and I cannot explain how GREAT of an experience we had. We worked closely with Jennifer, who is simply amazing. She helped us and guided us throughout the entire process from all of our question upfront to determining food choices, lightening, and everything in between. On the day of set up, Jennifer and crew were amazing. They had all of the tables, linens, lights completely set up and ready for my crew to come in with table decor. She gave us OPTIONS and let us make the reception our own with all of her help. The night of the deception, Jennifer and TEAM were AMAZING. They were helpful, respectful, on point, quick, and ready to go. And the food, I cannot get over how many compliments we received on the food and the service of the River Center. After the reception, the River Center team was ready for pick up.

So grateful for the entire team. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer and team, as they truly made the best day of our lives, even better. Jennifer was so helpful throughout the entire process, I am truly grateful for her expertise and patience. We would recommend the River Center to anyone we know. We had such a great experience and our wedding was filled with an amazing experience.

The River Center was wonderful to work with. Jennifer McKee responded to every question quickly through e-mail and was always willing to meet if needed. The River Center was beautifully decorated for our reception with the canopy lights. The food was very good.

The RiverCenter was a wonderful venue for our wedding reception! Jennifer is extremely easy to work with and very helpful. The day went completely flawless. Everything was as promised and could not imagine a more beautiful setting to celebrate our night!

Although I was initially disappointed I didn't get the ceremony space I had hoped for, the space was transformed beyond what I could imagine. The reception space with the lighted canopy is so beautiful and is what initially drew me to want the RiverCenter as my venue.

I am the Mother of the Bride and worked with Jennifer McKee at the River Center. We were so very happy about our daughter and son-in-law's wedding ceremony and reception! Jennifer is the Event Coordinator and was great! She responded to all questions and concerns immediately. She worked her schedule around us. For example, we hoped to do the menu tasting when the maid of honor was in town, Jennifer scheduled the chef and staff for us. It was so nice of all of them to accomodate us.
We also had to move the room for the ceremony due to another event scheduled in the original space (we knew this was a possibility when we booked the space). Jennifer met us to view the other room and helped us envision the possibilities.
The rooms for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were fantastic!! The River Center has special lighting ropes for the ceiling that make the space gorgeous! The space for the ceremony was so intimate and lovely. We had so many compliments about the overall appearance of the event.
The food for the cocktail hour and reception was so good! The presentation and the quality was superb. The wait staff was super attentive to all the guests. And, so helpful to me, too!
I could go on and on about how fantastic Jennifer, staff and the River Center was for this special day but I'll stop for now. I would give them a 10...but 5 is the highest rating available
