From the minute we walked into Eastbank, I knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. We had a great experience working with Adam, and especially Krista! They were always so prompt to answer any questions we had, and were wonderful to work with. Krista gave us lots of ideas and suggestions, and helped to make our reception perfect! We had around 350 guests and they helped us come up with a layout to make the most out of the space without feeling tight, and it worked out great! They have the most beautiful space and wonderful employees, which makes it the best venue for your reception!

Eastbank was my daughter's first and only pick as a venue for her wedding - and after having her wedding reception there I certainly understand why. We started out with approximately 420 guest invited I was worried if Eastbank could hold that many - as the planning went on and RSVPs came in we dropped to 320 - as I soon found out Eastbank held that many very comfortably and we had more than enough room for our guests to move around. Even with an added photo booth, appetizer table, cake table, gift table, candy bar, table setting signs, the dj set up and the catering set up - there was room for everyone to mill around and plenty of room in the bar area!
Adam and his team made is so gorgeous for the day and worked with us to bring our décor in without there being in stress or overwhelming feelings! It just kept getting more and more beautiful - so it was easy to make my daughter's dreams for her day look amazing.
The staff and the service were top notch and there was never any long lines at the bar all night long - the way the dinner and dance floor had been set up was so convenient and fit into the atmosphere.
The vendors we chose each knew Adam and his team very well and we were getting compliments from them even before we began the planning. "he is so easy to work with. You will like him and not be disappointed". Also, a shout out to Krista - she is so inviting and has all the questions we had answered. The lighting was gorgeous both inside and out - love the chandeliers! Bathrooms were even beautiful - and well kept through the evening with stock of supplies as needed - did not ever have to ask.
Even after the event Adam was so helpful in the return of things we had forgotten and needed returned - he went up and beyond in this.

I truly cannot say enough great things about Adam and the staff at Eastbank. We scheduled our reception with Eastbank before moving out of Cedar Rapids, and from the moment we started working with them they were kind, accommodating (to both us and our vendors), fun, and truly cared about my experience. The night of our reception the entire staff was such a pleasure to work with, navigating through our almost 250 guests with smiles on their faces, never missing a beat. Though we were married in Mexico, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to have my entire wedding at Eastbank. I truly couldn't have asked to work with a better group of people and am so grateful to them!

Adam was absolutely fantastic showing us around and making us feel comfortable in this process. This was our second venue visit and we were so happy with it, we canceled the other visits. So excited for our big day!!

My husband and I recently got married and had our reception at Eastbank Venue & Lounge. After searching the Cedar Rapids area and remaining undecided on the perfect venue for our reception, a friend advised us to check out Eastbank. After about a minute of being inside the space we knew it was the right place for us. My husband and I are in our early 30's and we've been to a lot of friends and family weddings in Cedar Rapids but none is a venue like this. The renovations they have done to the old Smulfekoff's furniture store are nothing short of amazing. The lounge atmosphere and modern decor and colorful lighting were unique and just what we were looking for. Unlike any other place in Cedar Rapids! Adam Covington and his team were very accommodating, easy to contact, and insightful when it came to layout set up for our event. They have background in even planning so we welcomed all their suggestions. We had the most wonderful time and would recommend Eastbank Venue & Lounge to anyone looking for event space.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our wedding reception at Eastbank Venue & Lounge and it was AMAZING! Our 250 guest wedding reception was absolutely gorgeous and a dream come true, with many thanks to the venue staff and their manager, Adam! Every detail was perfect and the venue offered so many options for our decorations and theme, it is truly a beautiful blank canvas. The full service bar included in the venue is something truly unique to Eastern Iowa venues and the natural exposed brick wall mixed with the modern decor throughout the bar area is simply gorgeous. The venue includes many amenities (including lighting options) in the more than fair rental price, and Adam and his team were easily available to us for questions and open communication throughout our planning journey. This venue is absolutely perfect for any event! The authenticity of this historical Cedar Rapids gem is highlighted with unique and modern touches in just the right way. Our guests from all over the country were left stunned by how beautiful this venue was. I would do it all over again in a second!

East bank venue was absolutely amazing! It is so modern and cool looking that you don't need much decoration to make the place stunning! Loved the open space and the bar area! Adam was amazing to work with as well! I would highly recommend this Venue!!

This is THE BEST venue ever in Cedar Rapids! Your wedding will be a blast! Eastbank has wood floors, a bar, lounge area, cocktail tables, lots of space, and awesome bathrooms! All your guests will be dying over the venue. I had my wedding in July and everyone kept telling us it was the best wedding ever! They can match the ceiling lights to your colors and they even have lights outside of the venue too!
