Working with Tiernae for our engagement photos and wedding was a dream! You spend so much time with your photographer on your wedding day that picking the right one is SUPER important and we are so grateful we found Tiernae. We absolutely love her and she is definitely worth the investment!!

- Communication via her platform and text is very easy and convenient
- She gave us Polaroids at the end of our wedding night so we could see photos on the day!
- She gave us a ~40 photo preview the day after our wedding.
- She has a quick turnaround for photo galleries.

First off, I saw Tiernae's work because she took family photos of my brother's family after they had their second child. The pictures were SO GOOD. I could be biased because some of my favorite people in the entire world were in those photos, but they were amazing and absolutely adorable. She captured many beautiful family photos with a newborn, a two-year-old, and a 100lb dog. How is that even possible!?

Fast forward about a year and a half to our wedding; Tiernae went above and beyond for our wedding photos. She captured hundreds (maybe more) of beautiful moments on what was one of the best days of our lives. She put together a beautiful slideshow with some of the photos which I still watch to this day, and on our 1 year anniversary, she sent us this beautiful hardcover book with some of the most memorable/special photos from the day. She took the time to ask before the wedding what I really wanted her to capture and if there were any special cultural things she should know about which I thought was amazingly thoughtful of her.

I definitely recommend Tiernae and will be using her in the future to capture more special moments in our lives. Thank you, Tiernae!

We have been so impressed with Tiernae from the moment we met. There are so many elements of delivering excellent service in the wedding photography business; honestly I didn't have a good understanding before we started our search. So, I'll walk through them here as I describe our experience with Tiernae.

The "Sales" Process | We were overwhelmed by the number of option before us; there were so many photographers with beautiful photos. As we focused in on the styles and websites we liked and started to talk about budget, we made a short list of people we wanted to meet with . This ended up being a half-dozen between Chicago and Indianapolis. Some were less personal, some jumped right to packages without much conversation, and some we just didn't enjoy the social interaction. We had coffee with Tiernae and immediately hit it off; after talking for a while, she shared some of her work and asked genuinely thoughtful questions about our vision for the whole weekend. I hadn't thought of the photographer a creative advisor, but Tiernae was tremendously helpful in that aspect.

Preparation | After we signed the contract (which was simple and unremarkable), we had a good email and text dialogue with Tiernae. In addition to digital correspondence, we met up a couple of times before the wedding to get coffee and talk about more details. It was really nice to spend time with her and Bailey (her second shooter) as we were making some final decisions. Tiernae also provided great recommendations for a videographer that fit exactly what we were looking for.

Wedding Weekend | Tiernae attended the rehearsal and was well prepared with questions for the church staff. She met the wedding party and family, and walked the fine line of being present without being intrusive. On the actual wedding day (which featured near-constant rain from sunrise to sunset) Tiernae was on-time and professional throughout. She rolled with a variety of schedule changes due to rain and was always around to capture the most precious and candid moments. Posing for photos can feel awkward at times, but Tiernae and Bailey kept things light, were great with the kids involved, and kept things moving along. Due to pre-wedding preparation, she got through the family photos very efficiently and everyone felt like they knew when they needed to be where. She also captured the details of our reception beautifully and documented the party from start to finish. Her work speaks for itself, but I can honestly say we enjoyed having Tiernae and Bailey with us throughout the whole day. Spending a whole day with someones family and closest friends is not the easiest situation in which to integrate, but Tiernae did so beautifully.

Delivery | Tiernae's photos were beautiful exactly what we had hoped for. She sent 10 or so highlights soon after the wedding, and then delivered our full online albums ahead of schedule and in time for the holidays! I can't describe how nice it was to share her work with family and friends when were all together. We also received a lovely care package that included a few of her favorite prints and a thoughtful personal gift.

Overall | I could not recommend Tiernae more highly. The photographer is a big decision on multiple levels. She delivers truly beautiful work at a tremendous value compared to some of the "big names." On top of that, her service, kindness, and fun personality made her a joy to work with throughout the process.
