Cara is such a special florist. Upon having our first phone conversation with her, we knew we wanted to work with her. She was chill and very flexible to what we wanted in terms of florals. We picked a venue in the Catskills with a lot of natural beauty and we wanted to be minimalist in terms of flowers and create an intimate dinner party feel and she certainly did that and more. She also was fair and reasonable in how she priced and was transparent with costs, which felt like it was rare form compared to the many other florists we spoke to.

Cara volunteered to do a venue walkthrough when she heard we were visiting, and she talked through her ideas for the space and made recommendations based on what she saw. We loved all of her ideas, and then later did an in-person visit to her studio. She kindly accommodated us even though she wasn't planning on hosting in the studio the weekend we were heading up to the venue. She had cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us on the rainy day we went, and her studio exuded warmth and vibrance from all of the flowers and vases she had. We were able to see the centerpiece in person and select candles and vases with Cara, and it was so fun! Even my fiance was providing input and really got excited about the cozy vibe we were curating.

Throughout the process, Cara was responsive, kind, and made helpful suggestions all along the way. She used locally grown flowers, and made such a beautiful bouquet and fun textured boutonniere. The decor was so perfect and paired so well with the beautiful venue. She took great care to create an elevated dinner party feel in the barn and it was so lovely. Cara did such a stand out job, and puts so much love and time and effort into every client she takes on. We loved all of the beautiful flowers and decor she chose for us, and will remember it for many years to come.

Cara is an ARTIST and an absolute joy to work with. We felt lucky when Cara was able to take us on as her schedule was already packed when we reached out – but we had no idea how truly fortunate we were! She is full of creativity and enthusiasm - it was so easy to put our trust in her. It is abundantly clear that she cares about putting together the best possible set-up. Our venue was already beautiful on its own and she made it spectacular! You can tell from her social media that she cares very much about sustainability in floral design and that she’s a joy to work with. Cara is well organized and proactive, offering to meet in person at our venue months in advance during a wedding break period - she meticulously measured the walls, posts, etc. and was very respectful of the venue and venue manager’s time and wishes. She also encouraged us to visit her studio in person so we can see the mock-up arrangements in person. She is a true collaborator, and we loved hearing her creative ideas! We could not be more in love with the flower arrangement for our cake as well. TLDR: Cara was able to create magic and surpass our vision while being very respectful of our budget - I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves! We loved working with Cara! Her work is beautiful and she is also a joy to work with! From our initial phone call, she immediately understood what we were looking for, and created a proposal that incorporated personalized touches. She was great to bounce ideas off of, and I love how she was just as excited as I was discussing all the details of our wedding day! I cannot recommend Three Notch Florals enough! She is a miracle worker and makes the most beautiful arrangements. I wanted something slightly different and more organic than a lot of florists I looked at, and Cara was the perfect fit. She was so flexible as our wedding plans changed multiple times and even made me the most beautiful bouquet for our micro-wedding in 2020. Once we finally got to have our celebration in 2021, she created the most gorgeous personals and arrangements I've ever seen - our guests were raving about how beautiful the flowers were all day. I'm so thankful I decided to preserve my bouquet because now I'll get to enjoy them for years to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cara when I dropped off vases I owned for her to use on wedding flowers. She was as warm and approachable in person as she had been by phone and email, and proved to be flexible and receptive to my ideas. I was pleasantly surprised that the small bud vase table pieces I had requested were a lot more interesting than what I had expected due to Cara’s vase selection and artful arranging. I wish I had 10 stars to give Kate & Cara! They were a delight to work with. They really took the time to listen to what I wanted, and they even put together mood boards to make sure they understood my vision for the color scheme. They also came up with multiple creative solutions to make sure I stayed within my budget (and they are extremely transparent with their pricing), which I really appreciated.

All the flowers at our wedding were an absolute dream! They nailed my “moody boho” vision and made the dreamiest, most gorgeous arrangements (especially my bouquet, which I fell in love with). They really exceeded my expectations -- they truly understood what I wanted and made my vision come to life. I wish their arrangements could have lasted forever!

I also really appreciated how organized, thorough, detailed, and thoughtful they were. I mentioned once in passing (months ago) that I liked proteas, and they remembered and snuck a few proteas into our arch. I also had a few special requests and last-minute changes/additions, but they took note of it all and executed everything flawlessly, even down to the tiniest detail.

And aside from their work, Kate & Cara are such lovely and warm people. From my very first conversation with them, it felt like I was talking to an old friend. You can tell they really love what they do.

These ladies are unbelievably talented! They have the vision to create anything you have in mind, and they are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Three Notch Florals!! From the start of the entire planning process they were so helpful in aiding us narrow down our ideas, choosing the arrangements that would make the most impact and working strategically with our budget. From all of our pinterest photos, they were able to create arrangements that were even more beautiful than we could have ever hoped for. Even when rain sidelined our outdoor ceremony to a separate covered area, Kate and her team were able to quickly regroup with our coordinator and create a new centerpiece for our altar on the pillars. Every single detail was gorgeously arranged - we are still looking back at the photos and wishing we could have preserved the flowers forever. We would 100% recommend everyone to book Three Notch to complete all of your wedding floral dreams!
