Ben at Threaded Films is an absolute All-Star and we loved working with him - which is funny to say, because my husband and I were on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding. But, oh my goodness, we are thrilled that we decided to get one and even more thrilled that Ben and Matt were there with us on our wedding day. The thing with Threaded, is that they're not just about capturing the day, they're all about getting to know you as a couple and really understanding and telling your story.
They are fun to work with, incredibly genuine guys, and they love what they do!

Weddings by SML, now called Threaded Films, was possibly the best decision we ever made in the whole wedding process. From start to finish, Steve, Ben and the Threaded Team were professional, helpful, extremely responsive, extremely cool to work with, and artistic. They listened to our needs and tailored their approach to all our specific requests. I must admit, we didn't necessarily want a videographer at our wedding. We thought pictures would be enough. Our parents urged us to at least do some research, and when we stumbled upon Threaded Films, we were so enthralled we couldn't go back. It was worth every penny and more.

We LOVED skyping with and then hanging out with Steve and Ben before and throughout the wedding. They were present at all the right moments AND they were so inconspicuous that when Chris and I discussed the events of the wedding the next day, we actually got a little nervous: "I didn't see them as we walked down the aisle." "Do you think they got a shot of us while we had our first dance? I don't think they were there!" We don't remember them because they were SO out of the way that we were able to have all our moments. Sure enough, the trailer came out shortly after the wedding, and we were BLOWN away. They had captured every important moment and more. What they create in that studio is a work of art, truly. They were so thoughtful, creative, observant, and their shots were amazing. We have shown the trailer to probably hundreds of people at this point, and at least 80% are in tears after 2 minutes. Finally, the end result- our film. It exceeded all expectations. It truly captured everything, some of which we missed in the excitement of it all. It told our story perfectly. I'm not sure how else to explain how amazing this team is. You NEED their services. I can't recommend Threaded Films highly enough, and I urge you to book them NOW!

We absolutely LOVED our same day edit (SDE) and wedding film! Before seeing Steve's work, we weren't going to hire a videographer for our wedding day, but after meeting him and just seeing a couple of his films, we were convinced. A videographer wasn't in our original budget, but without hesitation, we signed a contract at our first meeting!

Before our wedding day, my husband was already excited for the SDE (and you know grooms don't really get excited for very many wedding details)...and trust me, after the wedding, we must've watched it a million times! Everybody was talking about the SDE after the wedding (they loved it so much that my friends were posting the link on their own Facebook walls just to share it with all their friends haha). You would think nothing could top the SDE, then we received the feature film...and we could not be happier. Not only was Steve's work amazing, but all of our guests and vendors loved working with him and his team too. This is one of the best investments we made for our big day! We can't thank them enough!

Steve has done several of my friends' weddings and I have always been impressed with his work. So much so in fact that when my fiance and I were deciding on a wedding date we actually called Steve to make sure he was available on our preferred date. Steve and his team are all very easy-going and understand the importance of capturing the moment without getting in the way. One of the best qualities about Steve's work is the detail shots; shots of me setting out my something old/something new, shots of our guests mingling and having a good time and even a shot of my mom holding back tears as I walked down the aisle. That shot alone was worth every penny. Our wedding day was such a whirlwind, but Steve and his team captured every moment and every emotion and it was wonderful to watch our video so we could actually remember everything and re-live it again. I recommend Weddings by SML every chance I get!

When my husband and I began planning our wedding, we agreed that we were not interested in hiring a videographer. We had seen so many less-than-inspiring wedding videos that we did not want to bother paying for one of our own. My father, however, was not accepting of this, and pushed us to find someone. We were disappointed in videographer after videographer, until finally, we were lucky enough to meet Steve Luxenberg with SML Production.

We fell in love with their work at first sight. We found the sample films Steve showed us to be unique, touching, genuine, full of life, and completely unlike anything we had seen before. The videography of our wedding instantly went from being a meaningless, extraneous cost, to being an absolute must-have, in our eyes. When SML arrived at our site on the day of our wedding, they were kind, fun and fully prepared. Somehow they managed to find creative ways to shoot every detail of our day without much notice from us or our guests. They were an absolute joy to work with.

The most telling instance of the quality of SML's work, for us, however, came when we watched our wedding film on DVD for the first time. We were absolutely blown away. It captures the essence of the day so beautifully. Our wedding was such a perfectly joyful experience for us and our families. We wished we could bottle the day and carry it with us forever; the film SML created actually does just that. It has been wonderful to have such a brilliant representation of our wedding to share with our family and friends that were unable to attend the actual event.

We are so grateful to SML for the moving work of art they have created for us. Our wedding day could not have been preserved any more beautifully.

Steve with Weddings by SML was amazing. I didn't even know he was there, they were so unobtrusive, and they captured every treasured moment! The final film was beyond what I could have imagined. Having a film of our wedding day done by Steve from Weddings by SML was by far one of the best decisions we made for our special day! I highly recommend using them for your big day!! This is one thing to NOT cut out of the budget, you will have your film long after your day is over and it will take you right back to that day! Especially with moments you might have missed or forgotten because of all the excitement! Our film will definitely be treasured for years to come!! Thanks so much Steve!!

I can't say enough good things about the team at Weddings by SML, but I'm going to try!

I had been on the fence about hiring a videographer, and had figured if I did I would just hire somebody to be there to capture the day as inexpensively as possible. But when I came across Steve and his team (honestly, after being referred to them 5 or 6 times) I checked out some of his work, met with him, and was sold.

From the get-go, Steve and his team have been nothing but professional, warm, and interested in knowing exactly who we are as a couple. In a few meetings (both in person and via Skype) Steve talked with my husband and I to learn how we got together, whats important to us, and what our big day was all about. Although the team was contracted to film for 8 hours, Steve decided that the activities on the morning of the wedding were important to include in our Same Day Edit (this blew me away!) and a videographer met my husband and his father on the golf course that morning... at 7am!

Throughout our whole day, the team was there getting awesome footage (things you wouldn't even think of that really made the Same Day Edit amazing) and were so professional, we hardly even noticed they were there filming. They captured candid conversations that were worked into the video that were perfect, and we didn't even realize they were getting them. They told our story so movingly in 4 minutes that they had our whole reception in tears (my husband probably the most so!).

We have since watched it about 100 times (along with many of our friends and family, both those who were there and those who couldn't make it). We've been able to relive the most incredible memories (and have cried watching it more than once). I can't wait to see our feature film! We are counting down the days.

I can't begin to say how glad I am that we hired them and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Steve and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job on our wedding video!!! Steve is very professional and extremely good at what he does! His videos are unlike anything you have ever seen when it comes to wedding videography. The shots are so unique and captivating, while still maintaining the true essence of you as a couple. He has an amazing turn-around time...we received the final video 2 months after the wedding! And the little preview on his website was so special.
