Shawn did an amazing job at our wedding— he perfectly captured so many details and memories of the day. His hilight reel was so professional and we will forever cherish this ~5 min clip, in addition to the hour one. He worked in tandem with our photographer, Heather Chipps, and together they made it so easy to relive our magical day. It is nice to know that your photographer and videographer respect each others’ independent work in a manner they can both capture the many details throughout the day without hindering each others independent job. Drone coverage was on my list of “musts” when looking for a videographer. He captured the vineyard/property and us dancing outside of the chapel (my favorite part of his work, although it was hard to pick a favorite). I cannot recommend Thorns and Thistles Videography enough; Shawn was so detail oriented and listened to my wishes for “do’s and don’ts” and let me pick out many parts of what he would then put together for the final videos. I am so glad that we made the decision to hire Thorns and Thistles! Shawn was our videographer and he was top notch! He worked side by side with our photographer and they both helped us to make decisions on things when we felt like we were starting to wear down. We didn't hire a coordinator, and there were a few times when we needed a message relayed to someone else on the other side of the venue and Shawn would always jump at the opportunity to help us out. When we got our social media clip, and our full video, we were speechless with the quality of work from Thorns and Thistles. It was so unique to have drone footage! The choices in background music was perfect and I like how we got to pick out some of the songs that were used. Shawn was amazing from the time he got there until he left worked every minute and captured such a beautiful video for us. He is very easy to work with and most of the time you think he isn’t there. He is so nice and follows through with everything he promises and more!!!!

When I was planning my wedding, everyone told me I have to get a videographer! So I did my research and I am beyond glad that I found thorns and thistles! They were so easy to coordinate with and when meeting Shawn it all made sense. He was so easy going, didn't make it weird following me around all night, had the best personality and made it so much fun. I received my package a month later and had the social media clip up then too. They went out of their way, they sent a couple copies for the video, a flash drive version and even sent some sweet treats for us to enjoy while watching. The movie made me cry all over again and I'm so excited that I get to watch this day over and over for years to come!
