Krisztina and the Wooden Spoon catered an absolutely delicious wedding meal! The whole planning process was fun and easy; Krisztina has such an extensive menu, and a wonderful tasting helped us make decisions. The Wooden Spoon was seamless with set up/serving on the day of the wedding, and so many guests commented on how much they loved the food and desserts! We highly recommend hiring the Wooden Spoon for your wedding day!

Can't say enough good things about Krisztina and The Wooden Spoon. Krisztina was so kind to us throughout the entire process. We just had our wedding this past weekend and the food was amazing. Everyone was commenting on it! We got to choose some really fun options, and it allowed for us to escape the standard just beef or chicken choices you often see at weddings! We loved it! Her team was so sweet, bringing the wedding party our own little appetizer trays during our photo session. Small things that really made a big difference! I would recommend them to anyone seeking great food from some really kind & great people to work with! Thank you again!

We loved working with Krisztina from the tasting to the wedding day! She even arranged for an extra to-go tasting for us when we couldn’t decide on the menu. Everyone told us how amazing the food was at the wedding, and my husband is still talking about the short ribs (he even told me he’s going to try to recreate them at home next week). Krisztina and her team at The Wooden Spoon Catering Company were simply the best. We had a BBQ buffet that our guests still continually tell us, "That was the best food/dessert we have ever had a wedding!" It was a highlight at the wedding!! The minute we walked into our tasting we knew Krisztina was going to be our caterer. She had everything set up perfectly and was so warm and welcoming. We actually ended up changing our menu at the tasting because she let us taste her BBQ menu as well and we were sold, it was amazing. The day of Krisztina and all of her staff were great, we also utilized her services for our bartenders, and they were as well. We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was and also the sizable portions of everything. Thank you so much!

Krisztina and Wooden Spoon Catering were absolutely phenomenal. Kristztina responds incredibly quickly to all emails. She was very easy to work with and truly understood our budget and meal vision. Wooden Spoon Catering had reasonable pricing, fantastic service, and most importantly outstanding food. I'm a vegetarian, but my husband is not. Originally we had decided on a vegetarian dish and a chicken dish. A month out from the wedding we changed our mind and decided to do an entirely vegetarian wedding (my husband is the best, even though he eats meat he agreed it should be vegetarian since we were both paying for the food and he didn't want me to feel guilty about supporting the meat industry). Krisztina was SO accommodating! She didn't even bat an eye, she immediately got back to us with an amazing vegetarian menu. I was really worried that our guests were going to be annoyed that there wasn't any meat, but Krisztina assured me they wouldn't care as long as the food was good. She was so right. For apps we had bruschetta, watermelon basil and blueberry goat cheese bites, pear and arugala flatbread pizza, and warm lemon artichoke dip with sea salt pita chips. Dinner was salad, eggplant parm, butternut squash and spinach lasagna with garlic cream sauce, rosemary sea salt rolls, roasted root vegetables, and mixed seasonal vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious, but people were especially raving over the lasagna. People came up to us at the wedding to say how good it was, and a few people even texted us a few days later to say they were still thinking about the amazing lasagna. As if all this wasn't amazing enough, Krisztina also went above and beyond to serve our gluten free guests. I told her I wasn't sure what we should do as a gluten free option, because it had to be vegetarian but not boring. She made gluten free versions of the main entrees we had chosen so that no one was left out! She also made sure there were gluten free options with the appetizers. Krisztina and her team were super friendly while they were serving, and Kristzina made sure to come over and check in with my husband and I to make sure we were happy with everything. They also use local produce, so everything is so fresh and tasty! We cannot recommend Wooden Spoon Catering enough! Krisztina is SO easy to work with, completely willing to work with your budget and design the menu of your dreams.

No exaggeration, the wooden spoon catering company is out-of-this-world incredible. The owner and lead chef, Krisztina, was far and away my favorite wedding vendor to work with. She's flexible, kind, gratious and amazingly helpful. I often felt like a pest because I had so many questions throughout the wedding planning process, but she was genuinely happy to help guide us along.

We went with a family-style BBQ for our wedding; Krisztina customized the menu for us and it was INCREDIBLE. We were absolutely stuffed after our tasting, which was a wonderful experience in and of itself — not only because we got to try a little bit of everything, but also because she was such a fun host! We knew our guests would love the food on th wedding day and they truly did. The Mac n cheese was a particular hit, so much so that the catering staff brought out seconds. For dessert, we had cider donuts and cheesecakes in mason jars topped with fresh fruit. My mouth is watering just remembering them.

And to top it all off, the Wooden Spoon's prices are extremely reasonable. Which is even more impressive when you consider how amazing the food and service is! The wooden spoon catering company is the way to go.

P.S. Get the chocolate-drizzled bacon strips for an app. You will not regret it!!

We used The Wooden Spoon to cater our Aug 2019 wedding and the food was absolutely amazing. A month later, I'm still running into friends who rave about it. Krisztina was so great to work with - flexible, made great suggestions and responsive. And the servers were fantastic. Would hire them again in a second!

I can’t imagine my wedding reception without Krisztina and Wooden Spoon Catering!
I had a winter solstice wedding and Krisztina helped make it magical! Not only were my guests still talking about the food the next day at breakfast, they were obsessed with her ability to make a crowd of 130 people feel like they were at an intimate dinner party.
We had a buffet with a tenderloin carving station and the meat was the most tender I’ve ever tasted! The lasagna was absolute perfection, everyone was impressed at how moist and delicious it was (we had traditional lasagna and Krisztina came up with a butternut squash and spinach lasagna with a garlic cream sauce).
The service was also impeccable; no one had their plates taken away too quickly and when the staff noticed older family members, they made sure to bring them a plate from the buffet so they didn’t have to get up. It was a group of mature and thoughtful servers who cared about my guests.
Krisztina went around to each table to ask how the meal was and made sure everyone was happy.
From the beginning she was invested in co-creating my vision. Food and music were the priorities and Wooden Spoon nailed it. I almost went with a large well-known catering company, and I am so grateful I did not. Everything about the wedding felt personal and thoughtful including the food and the food service.
