About
Nestled on 40 acres of pristine countryside, The Wildflower Ranch is a wedding venue located just outside of Willis, Texas. Executive Director Jennifer Cole bought the ranch in 2019 when she was looking for a facility to house her organization, Jake’s House of Animal Rescue. This non-profit rescues, restores, and rehomes dogs, and sits on the far side of the property from the wedding venue. Portions of your rental will go to the animal shelter, ensuring that your special occasion isn’t just romantic, but gives back to the community. Jennifer and her team invite you to host your magical day at this log cabin getaway and luxuriate in the beauty of East Texas.
Facilities and Capacity
The Wildflower Ranch consists of three houses where you and your guests can celebrate in seclusion and sophistication. The largest of these is the Ranch House, which accommodates up to 16 people in its three suites. The Pine Suite and the Cypress Suite hold seven and six, respectively, in various combinations of queen beds, double beds, and bunk beds. Both also have living rooms where your loved ones can relax and socialize. The downstairs Oak Suite has a king bed, an en-suite master bath, and a large soaking tub and is perfect for you and your partner. The Ranch House also comes equipped with an open-plan kitchen and living room that open up to a patio with a grill. As you sip cocktails and sample hors d’oeuvres on this terrace, you can feed the fish in the beautiful backyard pond.
Services Offered
Additional overnight accommodations are available in The Lantana and The Bluebonnet, two tiny homes that are nestled in the large open fields. While The Lantana sleeps five people, The Bluebonnet sleeps four, and is ideal for kicking off the honeymoon. Both come with small kitchens where you can cook meals and prepare drinks. You and your guests are also invited to walk the property, throw up a hammock between the trees, and enjoy a rejuvenating experience. The Bluebonnet also has a hot tub that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Texas night sky!
