This hotel wedding venue offers the capability to host any kind of special event including wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal showers, receptions, and much more. The Westin Denver Downtown allows you to utilize their spaces to create the wedding of your dreams no matter the theme, style, and personal touch you choose to have.

Facilities and Capacity
The Westin Denver Downtown offers over 20 different settings for you to utilize on your big day. With over 30,000 square feet of event space to work with, this hotel wedding venue provides endless opportunities for you to create an event that speaks to you as a couple. You can choose to host your wedding ceremony outside along the pool deck with the downtown skyline serving as your backdrop. If you prefer to be indoors, there are plenty of rooms available for a ceremony as well. The largest indoor space this venue has to offer is the Confluence Ballroom which can accommodate receptions with up to 1,000 guests or banquet style events with 500 guests. There are smaller ballrooms that are also available for medium and small sized weddings including the Augusta Room which can host up 440 guests, the Platte River Room which can host up to 350 guests, the Molly Brown Room which can host up to 200 guests, and much more. Additionally, this hotel wedding venue offers a wide variety of different guest suites your friends and family can stay in for the added convenience of lodging on-site. The Westin Denver Downtown is happy to block off a section of rooms for your special event.

Fantastic experience with the Westin Denver Downtown

Everyone from the first meeting to the planning to the day-of coordinator, to the bartender was so kind and fantastic to work with. Everyone was so welcoming and flexible through all of our last minute changes. Also, the food was absolutely amazing and I could not have asked for better food on our reception night.
They were even accommodating mid-party when we asked for the champagne toast to be at midnight on NYE in our penthouse suite for all of our guests to watch the fireworks together. It was just overall a really great experience working with them.
During setup and take down, all of the employees were knowledgeable about the venue, so they were all very well informed and could answer any questions I needed.

We are the parents of the groom and we recently hosted a wedding at the Westin Denver Downtown. Over a year ago we met with Jessica, Catering Sales Manager. She is one of the most outstanding persons working at this hotel. She helped us every step of the way with planning this entire event. To say it was the best night of our life is an understatement. The whole event exceeded our expectations. We rented the pool area which was beautiful for the ceremony and cocktail reception. Then we moved to the Augusta Ball room for a wonderful night of dining and dancing. The room is a beautiful room with large floor to ceiling windows with wonderful views of the city. The food and service were above standard. So many guest complimented us on how great the food and service was. The Wedding packages the Westin offers are so nice. They include linens that you select yourself and a cake from Das Meyer bakery which was wonderful. We also had a block of 35 guest room and they were beautiful large rooms. I can not say enough about the special employees that really made us feel so special and took such great care of us. Gloria from Housekeeping checked with us everyday that we had everything we needed. When we did our dinner tasting Johnny was or server and he waited on us the night of the wedding and he was outstanding. Others to mention that we had interactions with are, Dana and Katie, John, Jason and Ashley.
Planning a wedding for 130 guest can be an overwhelming task. I can truly say this Westin and the staff made it easy and fun and we enjoyed the entire process.

We booked our hotel blocks at The Westin Downtown Denver and it was a wonderful place for us and our guests to stay all weekend. We had charter buses and limos come in for transportation with no hassles and the pool was a great place for everyone to relax and get out of the heat! The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and accommodating ad you can't beat the central location downtown. I would highly recommend The Westin for your out of town guests as well as the place to stay before your honeymoon! We actually are honeymooning at The Westin Grand Cayman and also having a luxurious experience :)

The food that was catered by the Westin was amazing! Although I didn't get to have any, I was told that the food at the cocktail hour was really good and the set up was impressive. There wasn't any food left from the cocktail hour by the time I got there. We had a sit down 3 course meal and it was just as good as I remembered at the tasting. We got to meet the chef and make any small changes that we wanted. They even did special kids meals for our nieces.

The Westin Denver Downtown was an absolutely amazing venue for our ceremony and our reception! We planned the entire wedding from out of town, and Rachel and her staff were the perfect team to help us with every last detail.
The entire event was seamless, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The food, wine, and service was all wonderful!

Look no further future brides! If you want a beautiful, chic, trendy venue for your wedding, The Westin Tabor Center is the place to go. Deseri and staff were so professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. I had a very clear vision of want I wanted for my wedding reception. Deseri was a delight to work with for over a year. I commend her and the staff for making our day so relaxing and enjoyable for myself, my husband and all our wedding guests.

The Augusta Room at the Westin is beautiful. It's a little small, so if you plan on having a wedding bigger than 100, I would definitely find a bigger space. They have floor to ceiling windows that overlook 16th Street Mall and everything is just beautiful.
Working with Deseri was wonderful. She's informative and knowledgeable, she's helpful, she makes sure your day goes smoothly. Let me just first say that my DJ went MIA and Deseri was on the phone calling backups for me the minute she found out. We started dinner a little later and everything turned out perfectly and it was due to her quick thinking.
The food and the service is AMAZING!!! Everyone at my wedding could not stop talking about how good the food is at the Westin. I had comments like "The best wedding food I have ever tasted!" The wait staff are wonderful. I don't have a bad thing to say about them!
The Westin tends to be very busy during wedding season and because I had my wedding in the Fall, responsiveness to my questions were a little harder to get because they are so busy with other weddings, but I did ALWAYS get a reply.
We also had a room block set up with the Westin and they did a fabulous job getting everyone who wanted a room, a room. I had little gifts for my guests, and the Westin made sure that everyone had their own little gift once they checked it.

We only had our reception here, not our ceremony. We liked the wedding package options that the Westin offered. Their Augusta Room has beautiful windows that allow you to see the bright lights of downtown at night. The set up of the room is beautiful and although the room is oddly shaped, it worked out ok. Our original coordinator quit part way through the planning process but our new coordinator Jessica did a good job piecing together all of our wedding details that we had previously discussed with our old planner. The food was absolutely AMAZING and our guests still talk about how great everything tasted. The hotel was very accommodating with our different wedding customs which was nice. We were told of one server/staff that was rude to a few of our tables but everyone else was very nice. We wished that there was more guidance/communication from our coordinator as the wedding day approached as some details were missed. Although we felt we didn't quite get what we paid for, the event was unforgettable and we are happy with the way things turned out.

After all if the hiccups during the planning process the final outcome was perfect. We were married on the pool deck, highly recommend, and had our reception in the Augusta room. All in all it was a great time and although there were hiccups, out planner at the Westin made things all good in the end.
