The Westchester is a banquet hall venue located in Bakersfield, California. Bob Bell, the founder and owner, is an architect who remodeled and redesigned the origninal building in 2003 to create an elegant wedding venue. Since then, The Westchester has been host to numerous wedding celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
The Westchester has two rental options for indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Grand Ballroom has chandeliers, a full catering kitchen, and can host up to 250 guests for a seated dinner. Club W has a bar area, a free planning pod design layout for the event, and chairs and tables for up to 100 guests. Both spaces provide on-site parking and LCD TVs.
Services Offered
The Westchester offers space for hosting everything from bridal showers to receptions. The venue offers several rentals to allow couples to customize their event. Rental options include an altar, linens, place settings, photo booth, uplighting, stage, whiskey barrels, and centerpieces. We've worked the W several times now and the looks of the venue inside are top notch! Do no let the rather plain look of the exterior fool you. It's accommodating for larger crowds is a plus in Bakersfield. Weddings, bigger company parties, and Formals have all been handled with professionalism, style and a personal touch by the venue manager Ms. Rebecca. She is arguably their strongest asset. Always accommodating for set up & breakdown as well! The Westchester is a must when shopping for your special event venue!
