The Taylor Mansion is a wedding venue located in Taylor, Texas. This opulent homestead allows couples to celebrate their special day surrounded by old-world luxury. Here, you and your guests can bask in a picturesque setting as you host the celebration of a lifetime.

Facilities and Capacity

The Taylor Mansion, built in 1878, was originally part of a 5,000 acre ranch known as the Flag Springs Ranch. The mansion has a history of playing host to many soirees, with the upper crust of society usually in attendance. Now, it lends itself to spectacularly romantic events, like your wedding. The mansion's exterior features a large wrap-around porch, complete with regal columns. You can choose to hold your ceremony outdoors on the manicured lawn, using the stately mansion as a backdrop against which you can exchange your vows. A cocktail reception can be held on the porch so you and your guests can indulge in the panoramic view of the grounds as you enjoy refreshments. The Crystal Ballroom is an ideal event space for your reception. This ballroom is constructed entirely of glass, allowing natural light to flood the space in the daytime. As dusk settles over your celebration, the space is illuminated by twinkling chandeliers crafted from Swarovski crystals. You and your guests can enjoy delicious banquet dining here. Your evening's entertainment can take place in the nearby pavilion, constructed in neo-classical style. Here, you can dance the night away to your heart's content, marking the perfect end to a perfect day.

Great, Beautiful, Friendly, Photogenic

We were so delighted to choose The Taylor Mansion for our wedding venue in April 2025. We spent several months interviewing venues throughout the Austin and surrounding areas during the wedding planning process. The family owned venue is a beautiful property with several buildings to make your wedding day memorable. They offer a grooms suite, bridal suite, space for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, dance floor, and reception options. The grounds were blooming with flowers which offered natural decor. The pool area makes for a nice photo backdrop and the mini horses dressed as bride and groom were a guest favorite. From the mansion itself to the crystal ballroom, all the spaces are well maintained and unique. There’s an endless amount of areas for photos ops. We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the start of bluebonnet season and their front field was blooming nicely. We were so happy we decided to use their classic Rolls-Royce for photos, bride entrance and bride and groom exit.

Lindsey was very flexible and accommodating to our requests and needs with very responsive communication. She offered a variety of venue decor, dinner place settings, and ceremony and reception set-up options. The venue offers a nice variety of venue “add-ons” built into the overall price at no extra cost. We appreciated the added flexibility to day of weather changes and the additional support from her husband and son.

Lindsey was always pleasant, energetic and smiling which put us at ease to have the wedding we dreamed of. Seeing our wedding photos brings us such joy. Our guests were delighted at the esthetic of The Taylor Mansion and still remark on it. We have since moved from the Austin, TX area but would book The Taylor Mansion again for a major event if we could. We highly recommend it!

impeccable aesthetics of the venue are matched only by the exceptional customer service

We chose the Taylor Mansion in Taylor, Texas, as the venue for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding on May 16, 2024. From the outset, Robert and Lindsey impressed us with their warmth and flexibility. Throughout the planning process, they patiently guided us through every detail, offering invaluable suggestions that enhanced the beauty of the occasion.

Lindsey's keen eye for decoration was evident, and her recommendations were spot on. Robert's constant smile and helpful demeanor made the setup process a breeze. Despite an unexpected storm on the wedding day, Robert and Lindsey remained composed and efficiently managed the situation, allowing us to focus on preparing for the ceremony.

The bridal suite was an oasis of tranquility, perfectly tailored to our needs. Its elegant ambiance provided a serene space for both the bride and the mother of the bride. Meanwhile, the groom's suite was equipped with everything necessary for the groom and his party to relax and prepare. Despite the rain, both suites were well-prepared with umbrellas, ensuring our comfort.

Despite the inclement weather, the grounds of Taylor Mansion remained enchanting, adorned with blooming flowers. The transformed ballroom was nothing short of breathtaking, a testament to Robert and Lindsey's dedication to excellence.

We are immensely grateful for their unwavering support and professionalism throughout the entire event. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend Taylor Mansion as a venue for any occasion. The impeccable aesthetics of the venue are matched only by the exceptional customer service provided by Lindsey and Robert, who clearly love what they do.

Fabulous venue!

The Taylor Mansion is an amazing venue with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Robert and Lindsey were quick to answer all our questions and were generous with their time a resources. They went out of their way to make sure my daughter's wedding what she wanted. We highly recommend The Taylor Mansion for weddings or any event.

Cinderella wedding comes true!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting
married at the historical and beautiful Taylor
Mansion Estate. This venue was able to fulfill
every aspect of our lovely wedding from the
bridesmaid and groomsmen suite to the
harmonious ceremony in front of the Taylor
Mansion to the majestic crystal ballroom and
to top it off with the elegant black and white
checkered floor pavilion. We could not have
asked for a more perfect wedding venue than
that of the Taylor Mansion Estate. We truly felt
we got the "they lived happily ever after" with
how wonderful and memorable our wedding
was at this venue. If you are looking for a
place that can make for a dream wedding
then look no further than the The Taylor
Mansion Estate.

Troy and Amy and the entire staff are super nice and super helpful! They go above and beyond to make your special day as stress free as possible. Our wedding was perfect and I couldn't have done it without their help. Venue was beautiful and everyone loved the food and music!

Not only is the Taylor Mansion itself stunning and perfect, but Troy and Amy are truly two of the most amazing and sweet people I have ever met. They became our dear friends and we will never forget them! They made us feel like our day was so special and valued (and they do A LOT of weddings!) Our wedding was perfect because of them and because of the beauty of the mansion. We wouldn't change a thing.

Even after years of being married at Taylor Mansion our guests and family still talk about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything went. There is nothing that compares to the package that the Taylor Mansion offers. Whether it be a large or small event Troy and Amy from the Taylor Mansion will take care of all your needs and exceed your expectations. Not to mention the venue itself no matter what time of the year is beautiful.

From the beautiful Victorian Taylor Mansion front steps, wrap around porches and lawn with large shade trees for the ceremony, to the romantic setting of the crystal ballroom chandeliers, crystal swags and uplighting at night for a seated dinner, the pavilion with bar and DJ for dancing the night away, the beautiful pool & cabana area for hors d'oeuvres & photo booth, the Taylor Mansion and Crystal Ballroom was the absolutely perfect setting for our daughters wedding! Troy is professional, attentive and flexible, and did an outstanding job coordinating the rehearsal and wedding day. Amy crafted the two most beautiful and tasty cakes with perfection. The venue is not only beautiful and charming, but a great value compared to other venues we visited (nothing really compares). We had the option of having the food catered by Taylor Mansion, and we were very pleased with the presentation and taste. Troy & Amy even made a special dish for our vegan guest. There are so many special touches that are too numerous to list. I think the only negative thing is that the signage at the entrance needs to be larger with lighting.
