The Finch House is a wedding and event venue in Thomasville, North Carolina. The Renaissance Revival mansion is 7,000 square feet and was built in 1921. It sits on more than one acre of land.
Facility and Capacity
The first floor of the mansion has four main rooms for entertaining and can accommodate 100 guests. The library features hand-carved rosewood walls and trim. It can accommodate 70 guests. There are two large master bedrooms on the second floor. One is a bridal suite and features a mirrored walk-in closet. The other master bedroom is a groom’s suite and features a lounge area and pool table. The mansion is equipped with a full-service catering kitchen and separate entrance. The backyard features a large brick terrace and covered by a large tent. The outdoor terrace can accommodate 200 guests. The Carriage House has a full-service bar and lounge area and an indoor dance floor. The property also has a private lot to accommodate all your guests.
The Finch House weekend package allows access to the house and grounds from Friday at 4 p.m. to Saturday at 11 p.m. This allows for a rehearsal dinner, decor set up, and vendor access before your wedding day begins. Their weekend package includes tables, chairs, and linens for 100 guests. You can also rent the outdoor area and carriage house for an additional fee. The Finch House can host your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, engagement party, showers, and other wedding events. Their event coordinator works with you to ensure all your details are in place for a perfect wedding day. They are a full-service venue so that you you can enjoy your stress-free day.

Our total wedding package gives our guests full use of the inside of the house from 4 pm on Friday until 11 pm on Saturday. This allows plenty of time and space for a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on Friday and all day Saturday for set up, ceremony, and reception. This package includes all tables, chairs, and basic linens up to 100 guests. The total cost is $2,000. Use of our outdoor tent area and Carriage house is an additional $900. This does not include the cost of additional tables and chairs, etc.
