Book your wedding at the Statler!! We hosted our reception at the Statler in September 2024 and had a fantastic experience. Melissa and her team make the planning process so easy - they think of everything so you don't have to and make you feel like your wedding is the most important one they've ever planned. When we had questions or special requests the answer was always yes and then they delivered on the day of. We genuinely cannot think of a single thing that went wrong or we would have changed. Our food tasting before the wedding was a specialized, personal experience and the quality of the food remained the same the day of the wedding (we also did our cake through the Statler and it was so so so good, we loved it). The suite at the Statler was lovely, perfect for the bridesmaids to get ready and a very valuable part of the wedding package. Melissa recommended DJ and photography vendors for us to work with who delivered an excellent experience as well. We were so happy with our experience, but our parents were thrilled as well (important too!!). The ballroom is a beautiful, elegant venue and the team at the Statler brought our vision to life. Working with the Statler for our wedding was an amazing experience. We needed to coordinate a wedding with international guests during the height of the pandemic, and they were nothing short of professional, courteous, and understanding of our situation. Melissa Hill was so helpful and available, not only for coordinating with the Statler for our reception, catering and room blocks for our guests, but ALSO with an up-to-date list of vendors we could contact for photography, music, flowers, makeup, etc. She took a huge weight off our shoulders which let us the plan our perfect wedding. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic experience working with Melissa and co to arrange our wedding at the Statler hotel. The catering was fantastic and we had a bunch of fun trying out and choosing the menu beforehand. For the day itself, we took a gamble and got lucky with the weather for an outdoor ceremony, but Melissa was very accommodating in giving us the option to move it indoors in case of a bad forecast in the week before. For the reception, we had about 50 guests and booked the ballroom, which worked out great, with plenty of room for everyone to mingle and dance. Melissa and her team did an amazing job helping us set everything up - we just dropped off flowers and place settings a couple of days before, and they handled everything else - the room looked beautiful the day of the wedding. Booking the Statler was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Our family worked with Melissa and Crew the whole time. To be honest, we didn't fully appreciate what they had done for us until the doors to the ballroom opened for the reception. It was jaw dropping to say the least. Our friends and family booked about 35 rooms and they all spent 2-3 days there. Everything from hanging out in the pub, to taking walks through the campus, to the reception food was incredible. My daughter and her husband were happy the whole time and we are grateful for everyone at The Statler who helped.

We had our wedding at the Statler which was incredible! Melissa and Casandra were such a joy to work with! They made the planning process easy and stress-free. They answered our many emails and provided us with all the information we requested or needed. They made us and our guests feel important and cared for.
The Statler Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff at the check-in desk were very nice and helped us with the check-in and check-out process. They also helped us pick up our wedding decor the day after our event.
The ballroom space is beautiful and the wedding suite was clean and spacious!
Chef Eric and his team did an incredible job curating a tasty menu! The food was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our friends and family about the food.

We got married in June 2023 at the Statler Hotel. We are an older couple and wanted a small but elegant wedding.Melissa,the wedding coordinator guided us to the Micro Wedding package.It was perfection from every aspect!Melissa and the entire staff made our day a true reflection of our love.

Having our reception at the Statler was an amazing experience. From day one, It felt like working with family every step of the way. Melissa is so enthusiastic, caring, and thorough. On the day of the wedding, she thought of things I had never even considered- I did not stress about the reception for even one second. One of my displays I had made fell apart and she recreated it more beautifully than the original. She was open to all our ideas and thoughts for how to make our special day everything we imagined. The staff at the Statler really made me feel like a princess.

Having our wedding at The Statler Hotel was hands down the best decision we made. From the flawless service to the unbelievable food, all our guests were raving about their time at The Statler. Melissa was amazing and helped us plan out every detail of our multi-day Indian wedding, which included our guests staying in the hotel rooms for the weekend, holding our post-ceremony lunch in The Terrace Restaurant, and having our evening reception in The Statler Ballroom. We worked directly with the head chefs to fully customize an Indian-inspired menu for the post-ceremony lunch and plated reception dinner (along with a personalized cocktail for the bar). The weekend of our wedding, there were countless staff greeting and navigating our guests around both the hotel and around campus. The staff added so many personal touches for our family's hotel rooms to make our stay comfortable and special, and they made sure all our events ran smoothly behind-the-scenes. The Statler went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of so that my husband and I could enjoy our time with our family and friends!

My husband and I had a wonderful and smooth time planning our wedding with Melissa at Statler. She was friendly, responsive, and truly made the process as low stress for us as possible. The food was delicious (and plentiful!) and there were so many different options to choose from. We were also big fans of peanut butter and chocolate desserts and they were able to make us a custom treat, which was a lovely touch. For anyone looking to get married in Ithaca (especially Cornell grads!), this is a perfect choice.
