We were so happy with our choice to use the short giraffe for our wedding cake and cupcakes! They were so sweet, so flexible, and so professional and did a beautiful job. Seriously the most delicious cake/cupcakes we have ever had!! All of their recipes are made from scratch and are truly special. We couldn't pick just one flavor so we ended up having 6 different ones. Everyone loved them. One of my biggest regrets from our wedding day was not eating more than that one bite of cake...

Becky and Tiff from Short Giraffe are simply amazing! I had a unique vision and they went right along with it! I had 12 different small cakes and they brought my vision to life, not to mention they were the best tasting cakes I and my guests had ever tasted. They tasted like homemade grandmas cake and the icing was to die for! I could not have been happier! Becky and Tiff are an amazing due who deserve the best.

How can I praise the gals at the Short Giraffe enough? They were amazing and just wonderful people! We went for our tasting and tried a dozen different things it felt like which all tasted great. Everything was made from scratch and tasted great and the price was not expensive I was shocked! We had a hard time picking flavors but we ended up going with carrot cake and chocolate peanut butter for the cake with a dozen strawberry lemon cupcakes and a dozen white chocolate lime cupcakes. We wanted a naked cake for our wedding because we are not huge icing fans and some cake places shy away from that we found but they accommodated us nicely. We also wanted to add a very personal touch to our cake with our toppers and decoration. I was able to leave silk flowers on stems and wire cutters and they managed to put them on the cake beautifully,better than I could have imagined. They were also super excited to see our cake toppers a T-Rex and a Pegasus we had decorated with a top hat and veil. People had been skeptical about our cake topper choice but when they saw them on the cake loved them. I had been worried about how things would be placed on the cake when the decorating was happening the morning of but I had nothing to fear they did a spectacular job and I was so happy I had decided to place the cake in the center of the room to show it off because it was something to see (and eat!). We were thrilled to see that they had posted about our cake as well after the wedding it really made us feel special. They were amazing to work with and I am so happy we chose them.

I'm not the biggest sweets person, but couldn't get enough of the Short Giraffe's desserts. We knew we wanted to spoil our guests with some sugary goodness and they made our dreams come true.

The flavors are amazing and creative! We got so many compliments- some of our guests had 3 cupcakes!!!!

While it was a priority to have top-notch food at our wedding reception, it was absolutely critical to have phenomenal desserts (both in variety + quality)... and The Short Giraffe delivered!

We probably weren't the easiest customers to accommodate in terms of the specifics we had in mind, but Becky and team completely exceeded our expectations. Very responsive, and thoroughly professional... and of course, the sweets were incredible.

The Short Giraffe made our big day even more special – we got a remarkable number of compliments on our desserts. Can't recommend them enough!

I worked with Leigh at the Short Giraffe for my wedding and I was so impressed! We decided to do a desert table instead of a traditional wedding cake and the deserts were wonderful and we got a ton of compliments on them. Not only did they look beautiful, but they tasted AMAZING! Plus the cost was unbeatable - I was way under budget and even used their deserts for my favors. I would highly recommend using the Short Giraffe for a wedding in the Sarasota area.

We were beyond thrilled with the quality of our wedding cake, the price, taste, and look. We left a lot of the decisions up to Leigh herself and we could not have been happier. We chose to do three different cake flavors and designs but all complementing one another. Overall, it looked like we spend 3 times as much as we did. High recommended!

OMG best cupcakes/cake ever!! I cannot express how amazing the cupcakes were at our wedding. We had a 2-tier cake and 150 cupcakes that turned out so cute and tasted just as good as they looked. Everyone kept going back for more which doesn't always happen at weddings because most people are on diets or the cake is bland. We ended up running out because everyone loved them so much and kept going back for more! The next day everyone mentioned how amazing they were and how they've never had that good of cupcakes before.

Leigh was so great to work with, from the tasting until even after the wedding. She really went above and beyond for us.

We did our research, and we compared both flavor and price at ALL of the top bakers in Sarasota, FL for our wedding.

The Short Giraffe was the EASIEST choice we made throughout the course of our wedding planning! The flavors were unbelievable and their presentation is exquisite. Plus by choosing cupcakes over a tier-ed cake, we got to have 5 flavors instead of 1. Score!

Though they specialize in mini-desserts, they do cakes as well. Their website has lots of good and helpful photos. Rebecca and Lee were both a pleasure to work with. I'd choose them again in a heartbeat.

Becca & Leigh from The Short Giraffe were THE best! We ordered a pink champagne 6" cake (DELISH) as well as two dozen cupcakes (Lemon & Carrot Cake) for our Dessert Reception the night before our wedding. I only heard great compliments about the cupcakes as I didn't try any - I was too full from eating TWO pieces of the Pink Champagne!!!! We also used The Short Giraffe with our edible place cards for our Dinner Reception - chocolate covered strawberries! We gave the ladies our place cards, they placed them in the strawberries, delivered them to our venue, and again - only heard rave reviews about them!
