The Shamrock Ranch is a barn and farm venue in Excelsior Springs, Missouri that hosts weddings and other special occasions. Situated amid 323 acres near Excelsior Springs, this property is nestled in a serene setting of trees, rolling hills, and rocky bluffs. Facilities and Capacity
The Shamrock Ranch can host events for up to 200 people across multiple event spaces. The Quonset Barn features 1,360 square feet of space while the Reception Barn features 4,200 square feet. Both barns are climate controlled with central air and heat. The cabin has a patio and a deck for more intimate gatherings. Additionally, outdoor options are available, such as an arbor and benches.
Services Offered
This property can be booked with a range of packages. These include one-day options, use of the barn, and multiple event space rentals. Two bars (one is a permanent fixture in the larger barn and the other is a mobile bar), surround-sound speakers (including the patio area between the 2 barns), microphones, and more are available for use.
Accommodation
On-site accommodation options include lodging in the Cabin and three RV sites. The cabin features four bedrooms, a couch, and a fold-out bed, sleeping in all up to 10 people. The RV sites feature electrical hookups and a water spigot.
History
The property features a cabin built in the 1920s. A Quonset barn from a century ago was later accompanied by a large green barn. The Riley family purchased this property in 2019 as a place for relaxation and recreation in natural surroundings, enjoying hiking, hunting, and fishing. Being inspired by friends and family, the Rileys opened The Shamrock Ranch for event bookings in 2022.

What a wonderful place
What a beautiful place! Everything was top notch, from the large reception barn, the small barn for rehearsal, the cozy cabin. It felt like home. They have done so much to make everything easy and seamless. They were great to work with and helped us make the best decision for our day and were always there with a smile and a word of encouragement. We cannot say enough good things about Shamrock!The Shamrock Ranch's reply:

You couldn't ask for better people to work with then Mike and Denise, they absolutely went above and beyond anything we ever expected. Whether it was taking us out on the trails for awesome wedding pictures, or staying late to help us with everything we needed and much much more they did an awesome job! The Shamrock Ranch is the perfect wedding venue out there!! The price was fantastic and with everything they are adding to their beautiful property you get your moneys worth and would be crazy not to get married here!! Denise and Mike (owners) made our wedding weekend a breeze. They were so helpful with everything. The cabin you can stay in is breathtaking and that in itself is a nice getaway too. Denise loves working with people--after 20+ years in Human Resources in a variety of industries--she learned that was her favorite part of her job. It brings her joy when she can help couples make their day special and one of a kind.
When she's not at the ranch, Denise loves to run with a purpose and her purpose the last 8 years has been running for Team World Vision, bringing funding and awareness to poverty in 3rd world countries. She also enjoys traveling, visiting wineries, reading, and crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
Mike is a one of a kind man. Retired from 20 years in the AirForce Reserves, he will do everything he can to make sure your experience at the Shamrock Ranch is the best ever--whether it's making sure our trails are mowed, or you have everything you need to set up for your event he'll go the the extra mile.
When he's not working with couples--he is part owner to Control Service Company in Lees Summit, Missouri, mentoring others through Boy Scouts and church, and just spending time chilling on the ranch. Mike is an avid hunter which is why we purchased this property, but we didn't want to keep it to ourselves--so we decided to offer it for events or get aways during off hunting seasons. He also enjoys traveling, watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends.
