Fort Osage Christmas Trees & Weddings is an enchanting wedding venue located in Independence, Missouri.

We are Kansas City's premier wedding venue for couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony with a mountain/forest/Colorado vibe. Our outdoor ceremony space, Chapel Evergreen, is completely open air, its edges defined only by the towering evergreen forest and the sky above, creating a unique and glorious cathedral of nature. New for the 2026 wedding season, we will also be offering an alternate outdoor chapel featuring a large covered space with open-air sides. The perfect plan B option to keep your ceremony outside near the evergreens, even on a rainy day!
Not only do couples love the nature and beauty of our 20-acre Christmas Tree Farm & Chapel, but our multi-story White Pine Lodge also provides comfort and luxury for your guests. The lodge can seat 185 people inside when utilizing our mezzanine. We also have seating outside for an additional 80 people. Highlights of the lodge include a bridal suite with luxurious evergreen accents and a private bathroom, a large groom's den with a private patio, vaulted 30-foot ceilings adorned with twinkle lights in the main hall, tile floors, a fireplace, a pub-style bar, an expansive outdoor patio with covered space, and three guest restrooms.
