The BEST place for a BEAUTIFUL wedding!!

Our daughter Alexis and new son in law Jayson got married at the Tree Farm on what we believe the literal hottest day of August ever!!! Nick was AMAZING!! He continued to check on the full wedding party and our guests through the day to make sure we had water, supplies and anything he could assist with. The property was a perfect backdrop for our daughter’s special day!! We HIGHLY recommend that if you are looking for an outdoor space with a forest feel this IS the place for it!
Budget friendly but they also have options on what you need. Plenty of add ons for your package. Nick and family was always checking in, quick to response and helpful when we needed. Schedule the tour - you won’t regret it 💍❤️

March 2026 Wedding

Had a wonderful experience with Fort Osage! They helped every step of the way, consistent communication, very flexible with us and any changes to plans. Day of went incredibly smooth with them helping out in the background and taking care of any issues that came up and helping organize the flow of the day. For the price and everything that is included it is by far an excellent choice we would recommend to anybody!

Happily-never-after

I attended a wedding at White Pine Lodge at Fort Osage Farm and the bride and groom had upgraded to the Summit package because of the additional services and coordination that were included. Unfortunately, several of the services they paid for were not provided as expected.

The DJ and day-of coordination were handled by one person, which made it difficult for both roles to be adequately fulfilled.

The venue itself has a lot of potential, but ultimately the family felt that the level of service did not match what was represented in the package they purchased. They have requested a partial refund to account for the services that were not provided.

My biggest advice to couples considering this venue would be to carefully review exactly who is responsible for each service and confirm in writing how those responsibilities will be staffed and carried out on your wedding weekend. Just in case he deletes the comments, the wedding coordinator responded to an earlier negative review threatening a lawsuit for defamation. I don’t know where owners Kim and Bob Luke are but they are clearly not running things anymore. Nick Luke is running the business and responding rude and unprofessionally by minimizing the family’s concerns. Catering and photography were NOT a part of his team, these were people that the bride and groom paid for separately. Nick’s team was just himself and the bartender, I’m sure just to increase profits for himself. Ask yourself what kind of professionalism you expect in the people you do business with before booking this venue.

Venue Fail

Our wedding day was one of the most important and special days of our lives, and we will always be grateful for the memories we made with our family and friends. We truly were happy with our wedding day itself, which is why it is disappointing to have to share our experience with the venue.

We chose this venue and paid for the Summit Package because we trusted that the services included in our contract would be provided. Unfortunately, there were several instances where we felt the venue did not uphold its end of the agreement.

During the reception, one individual was responsible for both DJ and day-of coordination, and we observed responsibilities that were missed throughout the evening. A family member also witnessed the bartender consuming alcohol while working, which was concerning given their responsibility for beverage service. We also experienced issues during our scheduled Friday decorating/pre-placement time because the necessary linens were not available when our time began, and a sign we had paid for was not provided.

What was most disappointing, however, was our experience when we tried to address these concerns after the wedding. Rather than feeling heard or acknowledged, we felt that our concerns were met with an unnecessarily rude and disrespectful response. We were not looking for anything unreasonable, we simply wanted the issues to be acknowledged and, at the very least, to hear a sincere apology for the things that did not go as promised.

We will always cherish our wedding day and the memories we made there. Our disappointment is not with the wedding we had, but with the fact that the experience with the venue did not live up to what was promised in our contract and how our concerns were handled afterward. We genuinely wish our experience with the venue had been different.

DO NOT have your wedding here

Attended a wedding here and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The venue was very misleading in saying there would be a TEAM helping with setup and clean-up. Instead, the “team” was just the owners’ son, who was also the DJ, and I was actually made to clean-up after the wedding as a guest. Several aspects of the special day were missed as a result of the “team” being misrepresented as one person. The owners’ son was extremely unprofessional overall and added to an already frustrating experience.

Afterward, the bride and groom reached out to the owners to try to remedy the situation, but they were unwilling to work with them at all. Very disappointing experience with a misleading and unprofessional company. DO NOT have your wedding here.

Our Wedding Experience

Me and my wife had our wedding at Fort Osage Christmas Trees & Weddings. The total cost of the package was $6,600. We selected The Summit package rather than the Basic Wedding Package, which was approximately $3,799, specifically because of the additional services and resources represented as being included in the premium package.

Description of Cost - Amount
The Summit Package -$6,600.00
Summit Package Tax - $173.97
Photobooth $849 Add On - $636.75 (25% Discount Applied)
Wedding Sign $119.99 Add On - $90 (25% Discount Applied)
Extra Early Wedding Start $499.99 - $375 (25% Discount Applied)
Total Payments to White Pine Lodge - $7,875.72

After reviewing the services provided and comparing them to the contractual obligations, we believe that White Pine Lodge mislead us in the agreement.

1. DJ Services and Day of Coordination — “Team 919”
Throughout the agreement, the contract references “Team 919” in connection with the fulfillment of DJ Services and Day of Coordination roles.
Due to utilizing “team” in the contractual language, our reasonable understanding was that these roles would be adequately staffed with 2 individuals and performed as separate functions consistent with the premium package we purchased. Instead, the team had only one individual, Nick Luke, who was responsible for simultaneously performing the DJ and Day of Coordinator role.
This arrangement affected the level of service provided and resulted in certain contractual responsibilities not being adequately performed during our wedding.
The deficiencies we experienced included:
- Restroom supplies not being adequately monitored and/or replenished;
- Nightly cleanup responsibilities not being properly completed
- Frequent Absence from DJ booth
- Day-of coordination responsibilities not being consistently performed throughout the evening, including specifically tasks identified in the contract (E.g Unloading of Alcohol)

Our decision to purchase the substantially more expensive Summit package was based, in part, on the additional services and resources represented by the contract. A team is defined as a “group of people working together to achieve a shared goal”. Had the contract explicitly expressed that the DJ and Day of Coordinator functions would effectively be performed by one individual simultaneously, we would have gone a different direction with the services being purchased.

2. Friday — Day-Before Decorating and Reception Pre-Placement -
The Summit package also included Friday Day Before Early Access Decorating from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on August 21, 2026, as well as Thursday Before Reception Pre-Placement, including linen placement.
At the scheduled 10:00 AM start time on Friday, the necessary linens had not been provided by the venue. As a result, we were unable to utilize the contracted decorating and reception pre-placement period as intended.
The availability of this four-hour period was a specific benefit included in the premium package for which we paid for. Because the necessary materials were not available at the beginning of the contracted access period, White Pine Lodge was unable to provide the full benefit of the agreed-upon service.
Although additional time was offered later that day, that does not fully remedy the issue. We had previously scheduled and committed to other obligations associated with our wedding rehearsal and rehearsal day dinner. We therefore were not in a position to simply restructure our previously established schedule to compensate for the venue's failure to provide the contracted services at the agreed-upon time.

3. Wedding Sign Add-On — $90 Value
We also paid an additional $90 for a wedding sign displaying our names to be placed in front of the venue.
This add-on was not provided. No wedding sign displaying our names was placed in front of the venue as agreed.

Requested Resolution
We requested resolution with owners Kim and Bob Luke on issues that we experienced on one of the biggest days of our life. We instead got mistreated by there son Nick Luke who runs the wedding business for them. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT do business with Fort Osage Christmas Trees and Weddings.
