Don't settle for a caterer that only offers you a prefixed menu and pricing. You and your guests are special and deserve a catering company that will help you achieve your vision for your event. That includes the menu you want within your budget. We are staffed with Certified Professional Food Managers so you can rest assured that the food you are getting has been properly handled and stored. Don't be afraid to ask us how your dishes are prepared. We never use pre-made and frozen products. Our dishes use fresh ingredients that are cooked-to-order for your event. It will make a huge difference that you and your guests will be able to taste.
We are different from other caterers for several reasons.
• We serve you the freshest food for your event. We are not a restaurant and do not have pre-cooked food. Our food is shopped, prepped, and usually cooked and finished on location exclusively for you event, giving you and your guests the freshest and best tasting food available.
• We do not charge a service charge or gratuity. We feel it is our client's right to determine if our service merits more.
• We do not come into your home to use your kitchen. Our trailer not only has a 60 cubic foot rotisserie, but also has a fully equipped kitchen. Until we serve your guests, you won't even know we are there.
• We do not charge you by the person. We charge you based on the menu you select at today's market price, the number of people you want to feed, shopping, prepping, cooking, equipment overhead, and extras like rentals that you may want us to provide. You can always take our price and divide it be the number of people you have in attendance to get a price per person if you want. HOWEVER, if you have more than the number of people you had us base the food upon, you WILL NOT be charged additionally by us. In addition, there are other factors like operating costs that are included in our total; hence, you are being charged for a total package without service charges and traveling fees.
This is what you can expect from our services.
When we arrive at your location, we get down to the business of cooking. In addition, to cooking and finishing the food preparation at your location, we set up buffet line tables at a pre-determined location; cover the tables in our checked table clothes; set-up chaffing dishes and serving utensils; set-up a condiment table with heavy duty plastic eating utensils wrapped in full-sized, 3-ply paper dinner napkins, extra napkins, condiments, and complimentary rolls and butter; and we serve your guests. After service is over, we quietly pack up and leave. This leaves you free to enjoy your guests and your party!
We do have a minimum charge of $850.00 for up to 50 people. This includes two meats and two sides and our standard services listed above. Additional menu items can affect the price from this minimum charge. We can offer drop-off services at a reduced rate.

I know- you're thinking BBQ for a wedding?! We had a carnival themed wedding and do not be fooled- Pam at the Pit Stop was the most amazing find!! People cannot stop talking about our delicious food! When does that ever happen at a buffet wedding? When you hire Pam and the team at Pit Stop. Her menu options are hugely varied and she also has secret dishes not on her website. Wonderful communicator - fully self contained cooking facility- amazing price point - and even with 200 guests - boy, did we have leftovers!!!
