Emily was both our photographer and florist for our Hallowedding. She was fantastic to work with, really making our ideas into reality. Super creative and helpful in every way. She even dressed in costume to be a part of our special night.

Wow- where can I start? Emily at The Photo and Flower Girl is phenomenal. Our wedding morning was the first time we met her as we opted out of engagement photos and let me tell you, it immediately felt like she was an old friend. She was extremely organized, timely, knowledgeable and patient! I am not very comfortable in front of a camera but she was so encouraging, positive, and fun that it flew by. She gave us our sneak peek super early and our full wedding album was absolutely stunning. We could not be happier with our choice in Emily and are so happy she was part of our big day.

Emily was so great! I knew right away after talking to her that I wanted to book her, she was so helpful and friendly. I had a small courthouse wedding with a mini-reception with only about 12 people, and she was able to capture all of it with beautiful photographs. We also only planned it about a month before the actual event, and even with the short time line, she was so helpful and accommodating. It could have been weird having an extra person with so small a wedding, but she fit in great and was a pleasure to talk to (when she wasn't busy capturing everything). I didn't entirely know what I wanted in terms of pictures, but she had great ideas and all the pictures turned out so well. She also knew the area around the courthouse and suggested a great park to take pictures in, which was a beautiful backdrop. She also had a bunch of other suggestions for location after we asked her for some guidance. I would definitely recommend her, she was so friendly, professional, and, of course, took amazing photos.

She was so professional and fun! The photography really captured the important moments and the spontaneous photos are so perfect! She was unobtrusive and looked like she had fun during the wedding.

It is rare to meet someone who is so magnetic, genuine, talented, and passionate about their work – but luckily, if you’re reading this review, you’ve found one of those professionals in Emily! Seriously. We booked Emily for both our engagement and wedding photos - it was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Emily created a super enjoyable wedding/engagement photo experience and phenomenal, natural photos.

We wanted a light, candid, classic look for our photos and I can’t imagine any of the other photographers we spoke to delivering the way Emily did. You’ll see – as soon as you chat with her on the phone, you’ll see how quickly she puts you at ease, makes you laugh, and brings such a positive energy. This was even more clear when we met Emily for engagement photos and on our big day! Everyone – our parents, guests, wedding party – LOVED having her take their photos and went out of their way to share their compliments about her demeanor – and the photos showed it across multiple candid shots of laughter, joy, and love throughout our wedding.

On top of being fun, kind, professional, prompt, and the type of person who could put anyone at ease on their big day, she is incredibly talented – her photos speak for themselves. She captured exactly what my daughter, the bride, had envisioned for her special day!!! All the guests commented on how beautiful the bridal party bouquets were as well as the table arrangements and other accent pieces. The flowers arrived promptly as scheduled and were placed beautifully, I definitely would recommend!!

Emily was absolutely amazing to work with! My now husband and I had to cancel our wedding due to COVID-19. We decided to elope just the two of us, and hired Emily to capture our "ceremony". She did an absolutely AWESOME job and I am in LOVE with how the pictures turned out. It was not the smoothest of events (the night before, we realized a giant protest was going to take over our original wedding venue), but Emily helped us work out all the kinks, find a new venue, and it all turned out beautiful in the end. She did my flowers too!! I can not sing her praises enough and could not recommend her more!

For some people, finding the right photographer is the first thing on their to-do list. That was definitely the case for me since I can be rather picky about my photos. Emily was accommodating, great at communicating, and super prepared for any situation! I instantly gravitated toward her style and aesthetic. She was also helpful in preparing family portraits after our ceremony, which I later printed and framed to give away as gifts. During our first dance, Emily captured so many amazing moments even with a low lighting situation. I also hired her for flowers and having one person do both was one less thing to worry about. I highly recommend Emily for your next event or wedding! 

Emily is fantastic in all respects. She truly cares about you as a couple, your story, and having authentic moments translee into pictures you can love forever. She makes you comfortable and also helps bring you out at your best. Not only is she lovely, funny, and sweet, but incredibly talented.

Emily was an absolute pleasure to work with!! From meeting to discuss our needs/wants right at the start of our planning, to the day of the wedding she went above and beyond to make sure she captured every detail she could.
