The Parador is a historical wedding venue in Houston, Texas.
Built in 1928, The Parador stands as a testament to the architechtural artistry of a Distrcit Era. Marring Mediterranean Style with Byzantine detail, this magnificent building is designated as a Texas Historical Landmark and is the last of it's kind in Houston's Museum District.
The craftsmanship in creating this stunning five-sided structure is evident throughout The Parador. Intimate spaces evoking a splender of yesteryear meet with the grandeur of stately lounges, echoing a place in time and a beauty that is timeless.

Today, this refurbished masterpiece is one of Houston's premier social and corporate event venues as well as private parties and seminars.
The building offers two large adjoining spaces, each with its own courtyard or garden, which can be reserved individually or used jointly to accommodate larger events.

Inspiring and elegant, The Duomo is the centerpiece of The Parador, offering a spectacular setting for over 200 guests. Light gently flows from its soaring thirty-five foot dome, bathing the exquisite space in golden tones. Deep-hued wood underscores the gracefulness of it three-tiered floor. Architectural details paint a picture of magnificence - through its arched doors awaits a covered loggia with an adjoining garden for guest to explore.

Quaint and distinguised, The Cloister reflects an understated elegance. Connected to the Duomo though carved wooden foors, The Cloister is a 3,000 aquare foot idyllic setting where 230 guests can congregate for refined dinners and unique gatherings. For a change of scenery, The Cloister offers a charming private courtyard where guests can socialize in an open-air environment.

A relaxing stroll through The Gardens reveals the outer beauty of The Parador. An enchanting environment, this stunning garden captures the guests attention as they follow winding paths through a tranquil setting. Amidst the flora stand sculpted fountains, lending a refreshing aesthetic to the natural surroundings and creating a picturesque backdrop for a tete-a-tete or a quiet moment away.

Hidden gem!

The Parador was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was the first and only venue that we toured in person and was love at first sight! Even though it was cold and rainy on our day-of, The Parador has such a great indoor contingency that we didn't feel like we missed out and were able to take some photos in the gardens in between rain showers - the best of both worlds! The venue directors, Stacey and Sheila, were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. We had around 125 guests and everything felt very comfortably spaced. If you're looking for a venue with indoor and outdoor beauty, a great rain contingency, and lovely vibes, check out The Parador!

Dream venue!

The Parador was a dream come true! Our February wedding was absolutely beautiful. We lucked out with weather and had the ceremony outside. Transitions to Cocktail hour and dinner were seamless, and guests were able to roam the space and enjoy all the beautiful details. The building and grounds are so beautiful you barely need to decorate. Pictures came out absolutely gorgeous as there are so many pockets of beauty at this venue. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were trying to find a venue that has a church vibe but also could hold a reception. The Parador had it! We fell in love from the start when we walked in. We spoke with Stacey and she was hospitable and gave us the best tips on how to be budget friendly. Sheila was fabulous to work with as well! They have selected wonderful caterers to work with (we went with Cordua and highly recommend them! Darla was amazing to work with!) to make your wedding or event the hit of the year/lifetime! There is a beautiful garden outside to either have your ceremony or take pictures...the Parador has everything you need or look for! :) We really loved working with Sheila & Stacey too! They were both so down to Earth, taking care of business, but also building a friendship. :) Thank you both for allowing us to have our wedding at your venue! It was an honor! :) :) :)
